5. PLOT :
This book is about friendship, business, love story. This
book is written by chetanbhagat , in this book he has a
charactors of govind. In the start of this book ishanomi
and govind are best friends and they all are watch a
crickets in ishanhome.
They three are work less so they start a new sports shop
and academy because ishann has a great interest in
cricket and govind has a interest in business so they start
a shop and academy also. Govind also has a interest in
maths so he kept a tutation of children and help his
mother by ecomony. He also kept a tutation of vidya who
is ishann’s sister.
One day when bitoo mamacome and told about their
work and told strictly to them than after ishan get upset
at that time he find a little child play on the ground is
very good then he beat the ishann in bolwing. After this

6. day ishann find a great batsman in this pol or area. After
that he west his total his time and money behind this
little child who’s name is ali and he is from muslim cast.
So this father said not to play with indian castes player
like wise ishann.
At this said our author govind kept tutation of vidya and
in this days he fell in love with vidya.this love story
continue in their tutation time also.
After completed of one year of shop they thought to
increase their business so they bought a big shop in a
mall in a center area of Ahmedabad navarangpura which
work in progress and they pay a half of payment for this
but suddenly one day earthquake accrues and the shop
destroyed this news is shock for everyone related to this
story and specially for business man of this story govind.
One the birthday of vidyagovind and vidya cross the limit
of friendship and come to in relationship of love by
getting sex with each other.
Bitoomama strictly follow the indian culture and steictly
hater of muslim cast.so he sent a group of people to
ayodhia for opening of temple of ram. Whem they return

7. muslim cast people attend a blast in their train. In this
blast bitoo mama’s songet death.
Because of this accident bitoo mama become angry and
furious. Because of this blast is attend by the muslim so
he want that any muslim people shold not be live a life
after this. So he wondered in streets of area where
muslim are lived. And killed all muslim than he get idea
about ali who is a child of muslimand go to the academy
to kill him with about 40 people. Omi ishann and govind
try to save ali in this fight omi killed by bitoo mamaby
mistake. After that bitoo mamabecome more angry and
go to kill ali by trishul , when he run to ali for kill him
govind is stand just side of aligovind can save ali by
standing again the ali or displaced ali from that place in
this work govind just late because of this ali’s hand
become injured.
In the title of this book 3 mistakes is :
1. Govind had paid a huge amount for buying a shop in
Navrangpura shopping mall even though his friends tried
to stop him. The mall later got destroyed due to 2001
Gujarat earthquakes .
2. He fell in love with and had physical intimacy (sexual
relationship) with Vidya, Ish's sister

8. 3. He waited a split second and dived too late to save Ali
because of his own selfishness.Ali's wrist was destroyed.
CHARACTERS :
GOVIND : this book is view of govind. Govind is a maths
teacher and wants to be a good business man. His father
not a live.his mother fulfill requirement by lough.govind
also help her. Govind fell in love with one of his student
and his best friend’s sister. By this book he said his
biggest mistakes in life.
ISHANN :ishann is a simple man who do as his heart says.
Ishann is good at cricket with a hope to become a
cricketer he left the chance to become a military man. In
the academy of cricket he found a little muslim boy who
is a good to bat so ishandesided that he made ali to
cricket and get chance for ali to join indian cricket team.
OMI: omi is poor from mind since childhood but he
didn’t felt for that. Omi has a purely indian culture family
back ground. And his father is a pandit in a temple in
their area. Omi is a simple man but sometimehe

9. becomea angry to ishan and govind. At last omi get death
by mistake of bitoo mama.
BITOO MAMA: bitoo mamais a maternal uncle of omi
and he is very strike to follow indian culture and hater of
muslim cast. When his son get death in blast attended by
the muslim he drunk more and more and go to kill all the
muslim in the area but in a angriness of this by mistake
he killed omi.
ALI :ali is a muslim boy who is a very good at cricket
batting but he has not an interest in cricket but when
ishann become an angry to him he get interest in cricket.
At a end of the story when bitoo mamacame to kill him
because of he is a muslim boy he saved by govind but
unluckily he get a injured.

10. THEME DRISCRIPTION :
The theme of this book is love story , friendship ,
business skill is very nicely shown this three theme is very
nicely enclosed love story of this story is very nice
relation between teacher and student is very nice and
sweetly said and the business skill by govind is nicely
shown in this. profeed loss is also shown by earthquake
potion. Potion of fight between hindu and muslim cast is
also a very nice ending potion of story by this fight end is
become more interesting.
MY OBSERVATION:
I think that this the story for best relationship between
student and teacher and also a best story for friendship.
This novel is a good for every student, every man-
woman, any child also.
