Vibe magazines are company that do magazines on ‘news, music, movies and TV shows and
lifestyle.
History in the industry?
They have been around since 1993 and they have been doing magazines about the Northeast.
These could be news about different tourist spots and national events.

What did I learn?
We learnt that for their next magazine it is all to do with sports within the Northeast of England.
These sports could be from local football teams such as Sunderland AFC. These sports are for men
and women sports, and they want to promote sports and other amazing activities you can do in
the Northeast.
Do you know more about the industry?
I have learnt that Vibe needs more editors as there was only one who does it all andd he said that
it would be nice if he had someone to help him and experience the same feeling of piecing art
together.
Potential careers?
This talked made me realise that people in the print industry will also need editors, camera
operators to make their print stand out to others. I have realised that there would be a lot of
opportunities that I could get from working with Vibe as they could let me have a say in what type
of magazine we should publish next.
Has it helped you with your current projects?
This company had made me realised especially for the Canon project that I will have to make my
work really stand out and make it unique.
Have you learnt new skills?
What I have learnt is that even with pictures you can get your message across. These pictures that
Vibe produce on their magazines tells a story about the Northeast and how beautiful places are.
