more production equipment.

She is on an apprenticeship which means she is going to university and doing loads of different

What did you learn?
I learnt that there is a lot of different roles people play in TV in the scene of behind the scenes of
the filming and production. I learnt that there are different BBC courses and the one she is on she
can get a job at the end, which some apprenticeships don’t offer that. She also said networking is
important and even if someone know you, but you don’t necessarily know them, they could put
your name forward for an experience to attend too.
Do you know more about the industry?
Yes, because I have learnt that there are loads of different job roles that are different to each
other and they would need to be preformed well. I have also learnt that if there is a certain part of
media you enjoy you should focus on that as you could get a job role or something similar.
Does it help you think more about potential careers?
Yes, as I have also learnt that if there is a certain part of media you enjoy you should focus on that
as you could get a job role or something similar.
Do you know more about facilities or opportunities available to you?
Yes, as you could be working for the BBC in Newcastle, but they could send you different places
through out the country to learn and experience different activities that could help towards the
work you do at Newcastle.
Has it helped you meet other relevant people?
Yes, as she studies the same course as me and she used all of the different relevant equipment
and uses it to her advantage to get her onto an apprenticeship that has given her amazing
opportunities.
Has it helped you with your current projects?
Yes, as it has enlightened me to experiment and make sure the projects I am creating I am 100%
happy with and I have used a diverse of different tools, angles, shoots and more to make this
project how the final product should look like.
