• Toys R us:
Among the most recognizable television commercials, On February 28, 2018, Toys R Us Limited filed for
bankruptcy after accruing £15 million in unpaid taxes. The business stated that inadequate planning is
the primary cause of these taxes.
Kmart:
In 2002, when the company was experiencing a financial crisis, then-Chairman Charles Conaway and
President Mark Schwartz pulled an Enron (I told you it would become popular) and mislead the
company's shareholders and officials about the situation. Instead, they pocketed the money for their own
gain. This occurred because no strategy was followed.
Compaq:
Once upon a time, Compaq dominated the PC system market; however, that was back in the 1990s.
When Eckhard Pfeiffer took over as CEO in 1991, he bought Tandem and DEC and turned his attention
away from the customers and markets that had brought Compaq such success. As Compaq attempted—
and failed—to move their products upmarket and expand their reach, their rivals began to rule their
original market. This is the result of the owner's desire in wanting to increase his income, which gave
other businesses a chance to succeed.

communicating in a clear manner to ensure that the audience would understand; I
presented my work in a professional manner; I explained all the slides and the
information in a clear manner; I also used rhetorical appeals; I gave clear examples; I
submitted on time; and I made sure that the video was three minutes long.
• #Organization: I arranged my slides based on the outline i created, making sure to
concentrate on the problem and its causes, offer a clear introduction to the subject, and
add my references at the end.
• #Composition: I convey my message in a clear and effective manner that was
suitable for the target audience. I use the right words I write and talk clearly,
honestly, and simply; avoid stiff language, passive voice, complicated structure,
and imprecision. To fit the relevant information into my communication
seamlessly, I employed paraphrasing and summarizing.
