1. National Retirement Security Week is October 16-
22 – it’s the perfect opportunity to evaluate your
“financial wellness” and see if you are doing enough
to plan for the kind of retirement you’d like to enjoy.
“NYC Health + Hospitals employees are fortunate to have many options
for building their retirement savings,” says NYC Health + Hospitals’
Senior Director of Employee Retirement Plans Mohammad Raihan. “You
may need your same income or even more to maintain your current
standard of living after you retire – now is the time to explore the options
and ensure that you are on track to meet your savings goals.” Raihan
offers guidance to the retirement savings programs available to NYC
Health + Hospitals employees.

SAVE NOW, SMILE LATER
“Putting away even a small amount now can make a huge difference when you retire,” says
Raihan. “It’s never too late – and it’s becoming increasingly more important as we are living
longer and the cost of living continues to rise.”
National Retirement Security Week was established by a U.S. Senate resolution in 2006.
