  14. 14. Why people use VOIP instead of Skype The one problem with Skype and other first VOIP services was that you couldn't get a local number. For example, Skype doesn't offer a Skype In number in your state. This means that if anyone calls you, they'll have to pay long distance charges. That's not very attractive.

WHAT IS OOVOO, funny name and all, has long been Skype's most direct competitor. ooVoo is the next generation video communication service which brings friends, family and colleagues together through group video chats over the Internet using PCs, Macs, iPhones and best selling smart phones and tablets

But the meaning all of these software have same.
