on partnership.

barriers of access,
compliance and
affordability
Did you know…..
That all calories are not
created equal?
A calorie is simply a unit of heat
energy – a way for us to
measure the energy value of
food. However – the source of
that calorie – the food itself and
whether it is a fat or a sugar, a
protein or calories from fiber
means a lot. For instance,
calories from sugar alone
stimulate insulin production
quickly to lower blood sugar and
actually make it easy for the
body to store fat.

Did You Know…?
 That in a study conducted by ACSM (American College of Sports
Medicine) the ratings for mental-interpersonal performance, the ability to
manage time, and productivity was significantly higher on the days the
employees exercised in ALL 3 of these areas?
 Those employees who exercise have fewer medical and health-related
expenses, have fewer sick days, and better attendance?
 13 studies that calculated benefit/cost ratios all showed the savings from
these Corporate Health Promotion Initiatives are much greater than their
cost, with health cost savings averaging $3.48 and the rates of
absenteeism savings averaging $5.82 per dollar invested in the Corporate
Health Promotion Programs.
And did you know that for the first time in our history,
children’s life expectancy is less than their parents due to
poor nutrition obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease ,
cancer, dental disease, and osteoporosis?
So we all know that we ALL must eat right and exercise, yet, most people are
not. The 4 main reasons for non-compliance in the areas of exercise and good
nutrition are
 High cost,
 Lack of availability/access,
 Lack of knowing what to do
 Lack of support to carry out the necessary changes
This is despite a wealth of direction, information and statistics from employers,
insurance carriers and healthcare providers and daily free information via
television and social media.
So we are faced with a dire situation that affects every single
person, every employer and every employee - as well as the
global economy - BUT I am concerned with the small
Did you know …
That the brain is needs at least
a 60 second break every 50-60
minutes from concentrated
activities such as writing,
computer work, analyzing,
reading or performance begins

Did you know…
That even just 5 minutes of
exercise can dramatically
improve your brains ability to
focus?
Workplace Wellness
Wows!
 One simple
change in the
positioning of your
chair height can
be the difference
between the onset
of a chronic
overuse injury
requiring physical
therapy and NO

 The most common
injuries and
ailments for office
workers involve

businesses and the members of our community today. Here
and now.
I am concerned with the 80% of the population who does not exercise or eat
right, and the impact this has on both individual health and small business
economy. So the question is whatwe can do today to makethat right?
Imagine creating a working and profitable
culture of health and wellness in your
workplace at a fraction of the cost of most
wellness programs.
 Imagine having your own health coach each
week with a plan specifically designed to meet
the needs and concerns of both the employees
and the employers.
 Imagine having 24/7 access to this program
both in work and outside of work to address
nutrition, weight loss, stress relief, overuse
injury, disease prevention, and ongoing real
education and support through live coaching,
video instruction, audio and worksheets and
guides.
 Imagine having your own ‘Concierge Wellness”
programming that comes to your location each
month – and is accessible simply by your
phone and computer every day.
 Imagine that going to work also means being
able to exercise eat right and be supported
daily.
 Imagine experiencing results such as
increased engagement, motivation, focus,
enthusiasm, communication and productivity.
 Imagine that this costs as little as $99 per
month – per business*.
The model and how it works.
My Partnership Model for Consciously
Creating Wellness in the Workplace has
been developed using my coaching platform
technology that breaks down the barriers of
cost, accessibility, emotional resistance and
scalability for both the employer and the
employee.
It offers more to the employer than simply

being the nice guy – because it requires the
cooperation of employees – thus it enhances
a team mentality of both wellness and
profitability by reducing costs AND improving
productivity with less effort.
It offers more to the employee than a basic
wellness program because it is personal,
customized, on site and available everyday –
both in and out of work. This program
reaches beyond the workplace – though its
home base IS the workplace.
Most corporate wellness programs involve membership to a fitness center, a
smoking cessation program, maybe an onsite small gym and some
alternative programming such as weight loss and stress management. They
may also have a high paid corporate wellness director or provider that is on
site. These options are also unaffordable for most small businesses in our
community. I know. I was both a small business and a provider of these
benefits.
Why does this work?
It breaks down barriers.
 It is affordable – in fact – it’s cheap.
 It is available and accessible daily without having to travel.
 It is not subject to schedules, geography, weather and it is a resource
which can be accessed outside of work.
 It provides ongoing education and coaching – so NOT knowing what
to do – is NOT an issue.
 It provides the customization built in support for both employees and
employers.
This partnership model provides the resources within the workplace –
exercise, nutrition, education, coaching, and customization as it pertains to
the demands of the work itself – mentally and physically, to the wellness
needs and interests of the participants and to the overall needs and interests
of the business – without the huge expense. In fact, if you are a business
with 10 employees – this costs less than $10 per person per month – and
this does not include the savings or the performance and productivity
indicators as I listed in the beginning of this article.
How is it structured?
It begins with an assessment. – I meet with you, preferably on site and I
assess how the business operates on a day to day basis, the physical and
psychological demands of the work itself, the goals of the employer, the
wellness needs, goals and interests of the employees and how the “existing
culture” can be enhanced or modified to support the overall mission within
this model.
Important issues to identify are prevention of overuse or structural/physical
injuries, optimizing motivation and focus for work performance, building a
culture of health and wellness within the workplace which supports both
individual and business goals, and seamlessly integrating the practices &
programming for success.
Decrease risk
of all major
diseases with
exercise and
proper
nutritional
guidance and
ongoing
support
Customizing your program is the next step. I have a web based
wellness portal which is host to the individual portals for all of my clients. I
design your portal specific to your business and your needs which will house
and deliver all audio, video and supporting worksheets templates and text
documents. The topics of nutrition, weight loss, stress reduction, injury and
disease prevention, exercise tutorials, recipes and more will be covered as it
pertains to the needs and desires of your group partnership.
Then it’s time for delivery! Your business will be assigned a link and
password to access your wellness portal. You will also each week be given a
link/call in number to attend the weekly interactive 30 minute group
coaching sessions via computer or smart phone at a designated day and
time. These are also recorded and uploaded immediately to the coaching
portal so no one misses out. These are excellent during a lunch break – they
can eat or exercise while attending.
Once per month I visit each business to assess needs, results, and goals and
to provide support and consistent personal interaction for both the employer
and employees.
Your businesses coaching portal is also interactive – I post questions to the
group on a designated day – such as “Check-in Fridays” or “Monday Morning
Motivators” and I receive and respond to the employees posts during the
week. This is a chance for individuals to get answers to their concerns or
questions outside of the weekly group coaching calls.
Each month your business’ portal will expand with new video, information,
education and inspiration. It is an ongoing and growing resource which
easily welcomes new employees and adjustments to the program.
With membership, everyone has access to my private Facebook group
coaching page and a subscription to my bi-monthly newsletter which
features articles, links to interviews, recipes, motivation and fun valuable
content.
How did you make it so affordable?
Affordability comes with scalability. I can offer these prices for 2
reasons:
1. I already have a working model in place. I have clients and people I
work with in coaching, consulting and education from all over the
world. Both my interactive coaching platform for live calls and the
web based portal for delivery and access for all instructional content
and support have already been established and are in full swing. I do
not have to re-invent the wheel – I just customize according to your
needs.
2. I can work with any number of people at any number of locations
using the platform and technology I currently use – so I no longer
have to be training and educating one on one or in person on site
daily or weekly This is what differentiates this model from the
traditional wellness programming models which are EXPENSIVE. This
model in particular for MY local community has more personalization
to it – therefore, I am initially scaling it to no more than 20
businesses so that I may have person to person on site interaction.
Investment is a partnership. I am partnering with you to help you create
this valuable resource – but the most important partnership is between the
employee and employer.
Although there will be one payment each month from the business, I highly
recommend all participants partnering in the investment. This may mean
requesting a monthly investment of $5 per person to share the expense – or
you may designate that monthly fee to fund a half day wellness or team
building workshop in the future.
Introductory pricing for the 1st 20 to enroll. This is a 12 month program
with an introductory priced monthly membership for the 1st 20 businesses to
enroll before September 30th 2015. Please note – this is a per business price
– not per person! The content and quality of this program costs individuals
hundreds of dollars outside of this model.
1-15 participants - $99/mo
16-25 participants $149/mo
26-40 participants $199/mo
It is all inclusive for this introductory offer, as described.
 Initial meeting and assessment on site
 Customized wellness program development and delivery
 Your signature business wellness coaching portal housing all
resources – video, audio instruction and education, weekly web text
interaction, documents, templates, guides.
 Weekly interactive live 30 minute group coaching calls via phone or
web
 Monthly on site visits
 Private Facebook membership page
 Bi monthly newsletter
Additional resources are available. Workshops, more extensive program
development, additional individual and group coaching and consultation are
available upon request. Participants may also opt individually to engage in
additional coaching or instruction. Prices are furnished upon request and
vary within the scope and nature of the service.
