4. Liver A large organ above and in front of stomach It filters toxins from the blood Makes some blood proteins

5. Stomach Muscular organ that is attached to the Esophagus Stomach breaks down the food Uses muscles to break down food

6. Intestines Intestines that breaks down the food Removes nutrients from the food Nutrients are released into bloodstream

7. Rectum Rectum hold the waste and gases or air Also the waste is held till it is released Feces enters the anus after

8. Anus anus is where the waste is released Sphincter muscles help release the ‘feces’ And other gases is released
