INTRODUCTION
• Irrigation is the artificial application of the land or
soil.
• Knowing when and how much to water is two
important aspects of watering process.
• To make farming works easily, The Automatic
Irrigation is created.
• To impress the farmers for using renewable
energy.
OBJECTIVE
• To minimize manual intervention by the farmers.
• To prevent excessive wastage of water & Electricity.
• To protect the plant from instant damage.

WORKING STEPS
 To connect Arduino UNO with Breadboard Power supply.
 To connect VCC & GND Pin of Temperature Sensor with Breadboard
Power supply and Data Signal Pin with Arduino A3 pin.
 To connect VCC & GND Pin of Soil Moisture Sensor with Breadboard
Power supply and Data Signal Pin with Arduino D8 Pin.
 To connect VCC & GND Pin of I2C Module with Breadboard Power supply
and SCL & SDA Pin with Arduino A5 & A4 Pin.
 To connect VCC & GND Pin of Relay with Breadboard Power supply and
IN1 Pin with Arduino D13 Pin.
 To connect Solar Panel using Capacitor & Diode(Neg) with Battery
 To Connect Motor with Battery And Relay.

DISCUSSION & RESULT
 To control Relay with Motor, Arduino used. It is programmed by
Arduino IDE.
 To measure the temperature, The Temperature Sensor
measures and send signal in Arduino.
 To measure the level of soil, The Moisture Sensor senses and
send signal in Arduino.
 Finally The Pump supply the water to the water, until the
desired moisture level is reached.
Practical Implementation
MERITS
 Highly sensitive
 Works according to the soil condition
 Low cost and reliable circuit
 Complete elimination of manpower
 System can be switched into manual mode whenever required.
 Irrigation in small places too like parks, garden.
 Very useful for common people who do not have time to water their
plant because of busy life schedule.
 This project is very economical in term of cost and power.
Conclusion
• In present days especially farmers are facing major problems in
watering their agriculture fields. Because they have no proper idea
about when the power is available so that they the can pump water.
Even after then they need to wait until the field is properly watered,
which makes them to stop other activities.
• Here is an idea which helps not only farmers even for watering
garden also, which senses soil moisture and switches the valve
automatically when the power is on

  • 4. INTRODUCTION • Irrigation is the artificial application of the land or soil. • Knowing when and how much to water is two important aspects of watering process. • To make farming works easily, The Automatic Irrigation is created. • To impress the farmers for using renewable energy.

WORKING STEPS  To connect Arduino UNO with Breadboard Power supply.  To connect VCC & GND Pin of Temperature Sensor with Breadboard Power supply and Data Signal Pin with Arduino A3 pin.  To connect VCC & GND Pin of Soil Moisture Sensor with Breadboard Power supply and Data Signal Pin with Arduino D8 Pin.  To connect VCC & GND Pin of I2C Module with Breadboard Power supply and SCL & SDA Pin with Arduino A5 & A4 Pin.  To connect VCC & GND Pin of Relay with Breadboard Power supply and IN1 Pin with Arduino D13 Pin.  To connect Solar Panel using Capacitor & Diode(Neg) with Battery  To Connect Motor with Battery And Relay.

  • 11. DISCUSSION & RESULT  To control Relay with Motor, Arduino used. It is programmed by Arduino IDE.  To measure the temperature, The Temperature Sensor measures and send signal in Arduino.  To measure the level of soil, The Moisture Sensor senses and send signal in Arduino.  Finally The Pump supply the water to the water, until the desired moisture level is reached.

MERITS  Highly sensitive  Works according to the soil condition  Low cost and reliable circuit  Complete elimination of manpower  System can be switched into manual mode whenever required.  Irrigation in small places too like parks, garden.  Very useful for common people who do not have time to water their plant because of busy life schedule.  This project is very economical in term of cost and power.
  • 14. Conclusion • In present days especially farmers are facing major problems in watering their agriculture fields. Because they have no proper idea about when the power is available so that they the can pump water. Even after then they need to wait until the field is properly watered, which makes them to stop other activities. • Here is an idea which helps not only farmers even for watering garden also, which senses soil moisture and switches the valve automatically when the power is on
