1. PROJECT ABSTRACT
This project is a Modern Art Museum in Presidio, San Francisco. Forest
surrounds the site, and it is near a cliff forward to the Pacific. There is
no any building on the site, and the nearest building is 3 miles away. This
project uses typology methodology which is created by Rem Koolhaas.
First, I did research to analyze every type museum in history. Second, I
found the unique feature of each museum and analyzed their program or-
ganization. I focused on the museum circulation to analyze the transition
of circulation from classic museums to contemporary museums.
By using these research as inspiration, this project is to use an infinite
loop as the concept to become an art museum.
