3. Leadership Team Assessments (Pre or Post Deal)
Executive team and directors take our 3D online assessment – measures problem
solving methodologies, communication style/preference, fit to role, motivation,
integrity and cognitive acumen. Summary reports are prepared and presented to the
Investment Team. Used to:
• Understand the team, its challenges and accelerate decision-making related to Human
Capital issues.
• Proactively develop strategies to fill in/supplement talent gaps
• Improve Investor and/or Operating Partner’s ability to communicate with new team and
maximize effectiveness
• Utilize Owner’s motivational data to help fine-tune deal structure
• Share results to build a stronger team that is positioned effectively to scale and grow.
Organizational Audit (Pre or Post Deal)
During a 2 day onsite visit, we conduct interviews to better understand strengths and
weaknesses of leadership, staff, organizational structure, and culture. Our summary
report highlights:
• Leadership and staff competencies and gaps
• Critical team members (ex. tribal knowledge, unique technical skills)
• Review of the organizational structure and recommendations
• Significant cultural or morale concerns, if applicable

4. Quarterback Human Capital Strategy
Work closely with the Operating Partner and other Portfolio Leadership to help
develop and execute talent strategies to accelerate growth and improve the
organization’s ability to scale. Examples of HC consulting services:
• Develop Phase I org structure based on current staff and critical players
• Develop roadmap to Phase II org structure including development and succession
plans
• Provide recruiting support to fill critical leadership gaps
• Incorporate 3D assessments into hiring process – bring science to selection
• Provide coaching and advisory services to portfolio leadership, helping with the
transition to PE-ownership
• Conduct Leadership Development Workshops to improve teamwork and leadership
effectiveness (especially when new, external CEO is hired)
• Conduct Growth X-Ray workshops to drive more strategic (vs. tactical) thinking and
improve ability to scale successfully.
