As Project Manager, I was overseeing three data editing teams to resolve user reported issues with Apple
Maps. I was working in coordination with engineers & software developers and supervised creation of
new geo data using cross-functional systems. In order to increase the team performance and accuracy I
reorganized and reclassified working projects to a more comprehensive & functional system. Also
overcame the challenge of frequent changes in the roles & projects of technicians in the Sunnyvale
Location and initiated training programs to transfer the Operations Team including 40 Technicians & a
Manager to Austin Office
December 2011 – July 2015, California Seafloor Mapping Project In 2007, the California Ocean
Protection Council initiated the California Seafloor Mapping Program (CSMP), designed to create a
comprehensive seafloor map of high-resolution bathymetry, marine benthic habitats, and geology within
the 3-nautical-mile limit of California's State Waters. I evaluated spatial relationships in geological &
biological data, prepared presentations for clients, wrote, edited & presented scientific papers and guided
a team of technical and support personnel to achieve business objectives. Also, I managed post-
processing geophysical datasets including side-scan sonar, multi-beam bathymetry and backscatter
datasets, high-resolution seismic reflection profiles and video data. Written and published a series of
seafloor characterization and habitat map sheets along the California Coast in California State Waters
Map Series.
May – June 2011 - Marathon and Nexen Projects, Reporting Project Manager in the Aberdeen office
of Fugro Survey, Ltd. Overseeing management of the survey reporting for pipeline route surveys and
drilling site surveys (2D and 3D seismic, geotechnical and environmental components) in the North Sea
region. Responsible for liaison with client, timely delivery of final products, overseeing the project to
coordinate data processing, charting, geophysical and geotechnical data interpretation and final QC of
data deliverables. Also responsible for the final geophysical data interpretation and compiling final survey
report.
April 2011 - BritNed Project, Hydrographic Data Processor on board the M/V Olympic Zeus utilizing
Reson 7125 MBES system. Carry out processing of MB data pre- and post-trenching of the high-voltage
cable system in order to assess depth of burial of the cable. Performed quality control of multibeam
datasets from multiple boats and quality checks of online burial assessment. Software CARIS,
Fledermaus for MB data processing, PosPAC for generating tide files, and AutoCAD for burial
measurements.
Sept 2010 – March 2011, Nord Stream Project, QC/Reports Coordinator on board the M/V Highland
Rover utilizing Schilling ROV. Pre-lay and as-laid surveys of 48” pipeline. Responsible for the QC of data
processing operations, compiling field reports and site memos. Carry out quality control checks on
collected and processed data (i.e. navigation, video pre-lay survey / as-built quality, verification on
pipeline events). Software EIVA (NaviModel, NaviEdit, NaviPac) and VisualSoft for data processing;
AutoCAD and ArcGIS for data presentation.
April - September 2010, Trinidad &Tobago National Gas, QC/Reports Coordinator on board the M/V
Highland Fortress utilizing Schilling ROV. As-laid survey of 36” pipeline. . Responsible for the QC of data
processing operations, compiling field reports and site memos. Software EIVA (NaviModel, NaviEdit,
NaviPac) and VisualSoft for data processing; AutoCAD and ArcGIS for data presentation.
September 2009 – February 2010, Shell Appaloosa, Telemark Pipeline Surveys, Data Processor
/Charting on board M/V Olympic Triton. Pre-lay and as-laid surveys of 6” and 8” flowlines. Responsible
for data processing, charting, final QC of data deliverables and data presentation for site memos.
Software VisualSoft and AutoCAD.
April 2009 – September 2009, HANNIBAL Cable Network, Sicily to Tunisia, HUAWEI Marine Networks
& Global Marine Systems. Sr. Geophysicist/GIS Analyst on board the SPV Universitatis. Responsible
for data processing, geophysical interpretation of sidescan sonar, subbottom data and core samples,

preliminary charting onboard and compiling field reports. Also provided assistance with landing surveys,
data conversions to AcrGIS databases. Software used for data processing CODA with Geokit; for
interpretation, data presentation ArcGIS and AutoCAD (AutoChart).
September 2008 – April 2009, IMEWE/TEN/EIG Mediterranean Cable Network, Alcatel-Lucent. Sr.
Geophysicist/GIS Analyst on board the M/V UTEC Surveyor. Responsible for data processing,
geophysical interpretation, preliminary charting onboard and QC/final reporting, final charting at the
office. Also provided assistance with data conversions to MakaiPlan geodatabases and cable burial
assessment studies. Software used for data processing CODA with Geokit; for reporting, data
presentation ArcGIS and AutoCAD (AutoChart).
April – July 2008, AKORN, Alaska-Oregon Cable Network, Tyco Telecommunications,
Geophysicist /Reports Coordinator on board MV Mt. Mitchell. Process geophysical datasets and create
associated charts. Also in charge of final reporting, interpretation of core samples, GIS and Makai Plan
deliverables and QC of data products. Instruments included Edgetech, SES, Benthos C3D sidescan
sonar, SeaSpy magnetometer, Reson, Kongsberg Simrad multibeam. Processing with SonarWiz;
interpretation using SonarWiz, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS.
April 2007 – January 2008 – Snohomish River Estuary small boat survey. Geophysicist/GIS Analyst
completing a tide-corrected multibeam and single beam bathymetric survey of the riverbed and slough-
bottom conditions utilising RTK positioning. Processing CARIS; data presentation ArcGIS, Global Mapper.
January – April 2007 Telecommunications Cable Landing Surveys, Geophysicist/Reports
Coordinator for the small boat and landing surveys the Punta Carnero, Ecuador and Mancora, Peru
landings of the SAm-1 cable. Final QA/QC of the single-beam and side-scan sonar data sets,
interpretation, final report, and client deliverables. Facilitated the ArcGIS integration of the topographic
survey, dive survey and offshore marine datasets. Also in charge of the geological interpretation of the
survey area based on the collected side-scan sonar, bathymetry datasets, sub-bottom profiles and
sediment samples. Utilizing RTK for topographic surveys, Edgetech sidescan sonar and subbottom
profiler, Ross single-beam echosounder, Geometrics magnetometer. Processing using ISIS Sonar,
DelphMap, ArcGIS for contouring; data presentation using ArcGIS.
September – December 2006, Columbia River Dredging Project, Support for Army Corps of Engineers
Dredging Service. Geophysicist/GIS Analyst for daily single-beam and multibeam bathymetry small boat
survey operations. Pre-dredge and post-dredge multibeam and single beam sonar surveys. Processed
and presented datasets, performed volume calculations, spatial analysis of survey data. Processing
CARIS and ArcGIS; reporting, data presentation using ArcGIS.
April - August 2006 - El Segundo LNG Terminal AUV Project (Woodside). Lead Geophysical Data
Analyst in charge of geological data processing, interpretation, data conversions and charting. Sidescan
sonar and subbottom data processing using CODA GeoKit; interpretation and charting using
MicroStation; reporting, data presentation using ArcGIS and conversion to MakaiPlan deliverables.
October 2005 – April 2006, Alcatel Submarine Networks. Geophysical Data Analyst for Falcon
Segment 8 cable route survey. In charge of final charting, data integration and deliverables. Interpretation
and charting using MicroStation; reporting, data presentation using ArcGIS and conversion to MakaiPlan
deliverables.
August 2004 – September 2005, Fugro Pelagos subcontracted Geophysicist/Data Processor.
Processing sidescan sonar and subbottom datasets collected off the California coast. Used Isis Sonar,
DelphMap for processing and TargetPro for target detection. Assistance with field surveys, such as the
AT&T 24-month Cable Survey at Morro Bay, CA on board M/V Global Sentinel using StarFix Pro and
video editing software.
