FAQ Application Process

  2. 2. Why does it take time to reply?
  3. 3. As we have multiple open positions at the same time, we are getting a significant amount of applications daily. We want to match you to the best fitting position and therefore have to be as precise and thorough as possible. To quicken the process it is important for us to receive CVs, which are as detailed as they can be.   4. 4. What if my CV is not 100% suitable?
  5. 5. We definitely want to encourage you to apply to positions, where you can cover most of the must-haves and preferably also the nice-to-haves. Furthermore it is really important to not only go through the requirements of the position, but also through the described tasks. If your CV is not fitting, we can still keep in our database and contact you as soon as there are suitable positions We are checking every CV we receive and there is always a chance of being the most fitting candidate. And remember, the more detailed and “position-fitting” you keep your CV, the better are the chances to be the one.
  6. 6. What is the Skill Summary for?
  7. 7. If we find your CV fitting to a position, the next step is sending you the Skill Summary It is an excel template, which includes all the must-haves and nice-to-haves of a position. The Skill Summary is required for us to understand the skills you cover and at which expertise level you cover them. This information is also included in the proposal to our clients. It is important that the content of your Skill Summary reflects your CV. Consequently it would be good to fill out the “Comments” field with references to your CV. Keep in mind, that the Skill Summary is only an overview. Your skills and abilities will still be judged on the content of your CV! So please include every important aspect of the Skill Summary in your CV.   8. 8. Why do you need my salary expectation?
  9. 9. If you do not hand in your salary expectations, your application will be incomplete and therefore we cannot guarantee that your application will be considered further. As we have a massive amount of applications, there is no time to request every missing information. It is one of our criteria for pre- selection. Knowing your approximate salary expectation beforehand quickens the process, as we are able to then offer you a salary suitable to your expectations.
  10. 10. What‘s the variable salary?
  11. 11. The time has come. We have decided that you are going to be our candidate for a position. Now it‘s time to do some serious talk. We offer our candidates a salary, which consists of two parts. First part is the yearly gross salary that you‘re definitely going to earn on a monthly basis. The second part is the so-called “variable salary“. If you are on site working for at least 200 person days a year, there is a bonus (amount of the variable salary) waiting for you at the end of the year.
  12. 12. How do I know what will be left from my gross salary?
  13. 13. The net salary depends on a variety of factors. You can find an explanation of the pay slip in our presentation “The Salary Statement“ Furthermore there are multiple salary calculators on the internet, giving you approximate numbers.
