2. Outside of the shops/stores
• Most of the shops arte allocated along the road, have huge colorful signs.
This is really good for taping costumers .
• The shops and stores are welcoming all types of people despite the color
or social class
3. Environment
• One of the store I went to was having a good lighting, it was so bright and
feels good being in but the floor was very slippery, which made many
women walking with fear of falling down.
• To my insight this was not good as this was the food store so many women
might not like to come and shop here.
• Our country is very hot so the A/C in the shop made customer feel good
after walking in the sun and as soon as you enter the shop you get this
cool breeze to cool you down which makes more costumers to like
spending more time in the shop and buy more and more.
4. Personnel
• One thing caught my attention, in one of the shops was the shopkeeper.
He was so charming a he was encouraging costumers on buying the new
cooking oil product he has kept in the shop.
• In the other shop the sales people were so young and upbeat, very
charming and persuasive
5. Products
• The first products I saw was the snacks in food store and earrings and rings
in the clothing store.
• There was a place located for products which are on sell, the ones in aye
level were trendy clothes.
• The products which were least accessible was sweater and jackets I think
its because they are not marketable as this is the hot country
• Near the cash register there were enchantment products (sweets and
chocolates)
6. Costumers
• In food store there were all kinds of age and gender but in clothing store
there were youth aged 20 -35, ladies and with their girlfriends.
• Customers tend to walk in the same direction and most of them spend like
half an hour as the look and try clothes.
• In the clothing store at least half of the costumers who enters the store
buy something.
7. Opportunities I have seen!
• I have noticed so many shops/stores, don’t hire attendants with good
knowledge on customer service.
• So starting small firm which can provide low cost customer service
trainings will be a good opportunity to capture.
