His business experiences after his career in FKI include in the area of international operation of IT related industry, entry strategy
consulting services for foreign companies launching in Korean market, and real estate development project consulting services in
partnership with multinational developers and financiers. He was the CEO of the UNIFI Communication–Korea, which was a
subsidiary of U.S.-based multinational value added telecom service provider.
He founded May Global, Inc. which is an international trading and project consulting company, and is currently engaging in
consulting activities for the development projects of landmark hotels, premium clubs and serviced residences, golf courses and
fairway villages in Korea capitalizing his business networks.
He is also the director for international projects and member of BOD of a publicly traded company, KMW (www.kmwinc.com),
which is a major manufacturer and supplier of hi-tech LED Lighting products and mobile telecom equipment.
He was one of the founding members and Deputy Chairman (non-executive) of the Ethics Management Institute of Korea, and
Deputy Chairman for International Cooperation of the Korea Medium Industries Association. He is an associate lecturer at the
Korea Institute of International Trade, and the School of Business Management at the Soongsil University and Ulsan University
lecturing on Cross Cultural Marketing and Business Communication.
He has authored an anecdotal biography of late Chairman Chung Ju Young, the founder of the Hyundai Business Group, based upon
his 14 years of personal experience as Chairman Chung’s special assistant for international affairs when Mr. Chung was concurrently
the Chairman of the FKI. The book was published in Korea, Japan (by Nihonkeizai), and China (by Qingtao Publishing).

JW is a popular guest lecturer at various business forums and business schools in Korea to speak on the subject of the
Entrepreneurship of late Chairman Chung.
He is an occasional contributor to major news papers in Korea such as the Chosun Daily and Joongang Daily on international
economic issues. His latest column was on the topic of advocating “Establishment of G20 Business Summit” on Chosun Daily which
has inspired and motivated Korean Government and business communities to take the initiative action.
He is also a devoted inventor and designer for various engineering solutions. He personally owns patent rights of Fraud Protection
Systems for Financial / Security Cards, Engineering Technology for manufacturing Photo-catalystic specialty chemical(s) for indoor air
purification, and personal health care devices using Pascal’s Hydrodynamic Principles.
His latest patent filed invention is an innovative foreign language learning program by means of automatic simultaneous / real time
translation of selected second language displayed on the mobile telecom devices, thus providing naturally acquiring environment
for second language in their ordinary communication behavior. It applies to text messaging systems including SNS (Social
Networking Systems) and does not require any dedicated text book nor instructor. His ambition is aiming at multi-billion dollar
English education markets in Korea, China and Japan.
Mr. Park has co-founded the Korea Synphonietta which is a chamber orchestra group for ‘bring the classical music closer to the
young generation movement. He is an audiophile, photographer, metal casting craftsman, and enjoys studying golf as much as
playing it. He has completed courses of Global Business School, and the Advanced Management Program at the International
Management Institute (IMI – a Stanford University affiliated management school), and the Advanced Course for Business Planning
and Policy Design at the International Design School for Advanced Studies. The courses were exclusively designed for leaders of
Korean business community for training on Business Innovation in Globalization as well as networking among them. In
undergraduate level, he studied Liberal Arts and pre-medic course respectively at Sungkyun Kwan University and Korea University.
