Strategies for Consumers
Having a business study background from the very 1st
year of College, Helped me complete my MBA thesis which was
not only worked with a purpose of completing MBA, it was to put all the theoretical study into practical, which helped me
developing my skills and most importantly developing my Attitude and Ethics to work and understand the professional
Business world. The whole thesis was for a period of 15 weeks in which two aspects were most important, firstly recalling
all the Marketing theories and applying these theories into my research and secondly, adapting the Indian Media Industry
practically which is a big challenge because of the tough competition and large consumer base.
 OUTCOMES - A successfulstudy of 25,000 words was submitted to the University on understanding Consumer
Behavior purchasing Newspaper which being a very minimum cost related purchase but due to the tough
competition in the Indian Industry pricing such products also require adequate consumer understanding and
Qualitative Marketing strategies. This study was to get practical knowledge of adapting tough competition of the
practical Business environment and help building my personal skills and attitude for optimum utilization of my
resources.
