- After you have archived a message and left a summary, follow these steps to open the message from its original folder: 1. Click on the folder in which the message was originally stored (such as Inbox ). Any archived messages with summaries will appear with a torn page icon in the Attachments column. 2. Click on the message. This will open the summary. 3. To open the full message in its archive, click the Open in Archive button in the action bar above the message.
- With Lotus Protector, you can view and manage a list of company-blocked senders, add your own personally-blocked senders, or choose to allow certain blocked senders' mail. To view and manage your spam settings, expand the Spam protection section in the navigation pane of you mail. It's just displaying web pages inside the Notes client. I believe that future versions will (could) be implemented using Xpages so the experience will be more seamless. The administrator sets an ini variable to point to the right Protector server (mine says "$PROTECTOR_LOCATION=194.153.113.41:4443". When they do that, the Protector items show up on the user's client.. The user has to log in the first time (I think), and from then on, it all just works. :) Oh, and along with this, the old block mail feature has been reworded to be more accurate: "Deliver Sender's Mail to Junk."

To have a widget property contain the current date you can configure a property to be in this format: $date:dateformat$ where &quot;dateformat&quot; is a java data format. For example: $date:yyyy MM DD$ will resolve to the current date (in this example it resolved to &quot;2009 03 20&quot;). Example use cases: A. You can create a widget that searches google.com for the current user's name. You would set the q property in the widget to $name:cn$. You can create a widget that uses the Notes filter command to filter a Notes view for a specific user: notescmd:filter|<name>|Notes://yourserver/yourdatabase/MainFrameset?OpenFrameset. The <name> will become a property for which you can set the value to $name:cn$. When opening the widget, it will filter the view based on the current user's name. -- The Notes widget creation wizard has been enhanced to simplify the widget creation process based on the current context. -- The Configure a Widget panel now contains a Basic tab and an Advanced tab. When you select &quot;Wire as an action&quot; on the Basic tab, you can choose a widget property to be wireable. Correct two initial capitals - When you type two uppercase letters at the beginning of a word, such as &quot;WOrd&quot; the second uppercase letter is automatically replaced with a lowercase letter.
- You can launch and run XPages on the Notes client. Some setup is required before you can run XPages, and you need to install both the Notes and the Domino Designer clients. To launch an application with an XPage on the Notes client, specify it on the Launch tab for Applications Properties in Domino Designer or via the InfoBox Launch properties on the client .
