1. Getugenis
This is to confirm that Mar3n Gunesch completed an internship at Timberland Europe BV in the
area of Supply Chain Management within the 3meframe of January 2017 - June 2017. He was su-
pervised by the division manager of Timberland Europe BV Xhevdet Grajqevci.
His main responsibili3es and tasks during the internship were the following:
- Conducted transporta3on/warehousing network op3miza3on ini3a3ve elimina3ng causes for
waste produc3on while reducing transporta3on costs
- Analyzed sta3s3cal data and reports to ascertain trends in performance, resul3ng in maxi- mum
effec3ve and efficient use of logis3cal resources
- Led and mentored 35 individuals in Supply Chain, Maintenance, Food Service, and Distribu3on
opera3ons in applying sustainable ac3vi3es
- Performed the "Green Screens Project", a self-structured project based on a successfully imple-
menta3on of a Zero Waste Audit
- The supply chain was recognized by the division head as "greenest supply chain" in the Nether-
lands
Mar3n Gunesch produced outstanding results both qualita3vely and quan3ta3vely at all 3mes. He
always devised excellent solu3ons, even to par3cularly challenging tasks. He worked totally inde-
pendently according to a clearly defined, well-prepared plan and always produced op3mum results
in every respect. He demonstrated extraordinary commitment and got to grips with new tasks
highly successfully within a very short period of 3me. His conduct toward superiors and colleagues
was exemplary, highly coopera3ve and extremely construc3ve at all 3mes. He possessed outstan-
ding and extensive exper3se in all respects and always resolved even the biggest, most difficult
problems with the greatest care and precision. We were extremely sa3sfied with him, owing to his
exemplary performance.
We would like to thank him for his outstanding and successful contribu3on at all 3mes and regret
his leaving very much. We wish this exemplary and dedicated intern all the best and hope that he
con3nues to be successful in his personal and professional life.
