and looking for anything that will help me get a
professional look. These make it so easy to set out
your tiling and mean no holes when you have tanked
a shower enclosure, they are so easy to setup and
use I don't see why everyone wouldn't use them they
hold the tiles secure and stable without much fuss.”

12. UNIPLUG PROSPACER TILE
SPACERS
Uniplug Premium, Heavy Duty
Prospacers are robust, very easy
to use tile spacers. Inclusively
designed for users of all ages,
they’re eco friendly and can’t get
left in tiling to compromise grout
depth.
And they space and align grout
lines around corners.
2mm & 4mm sizes.
16. DEPTHGAUGE
It's particularly important to lay the
first tile perfectly evenly and the
depth gauge function (fins) of the
Multi-tool will help to ensure that
the tile is laid to a consistently
even depth. Generally, the 10mm
fin is for walls and the 15mm fin is
for floors.
17. 2MM&4MMSPACERS
The fins of the Multi-tool can also
be used to check the spacing
between tiles. (2mm and 4mm)
18. IDENTIFYUNEVENTILES
You can quickly identify an uneven
tile using the edges of the Multi-
tool. If there's a gap under the
edge, then the tile needs adjusting
before the adhesive sets.
19. ADHESIVE/DEBRISREMOVER
Before grouting, it's important to
make sure the grout lines are
clear of adhesive, spacers, debris
etc so that a full depth of grout can
be inserted and the adhesive
remover on the Multi-tool is
perfect for the job. And if you slip,
you won't scratch a tile!
20. GROUTFINISHER
When you've inserted the grout,
the grout finisher on the Multi-tool
will give you a nice smooth finish
for a professional look. There are
two sizes, one for narrow grout
lines and one for wide lines.
21. J-HOOK
Tile Adjuster
Adjusting uneven tiles isn’t as easy as
it might seem – unless you have the
right tool.
A screwdriver or the edge of your
trowel can damage your tiles or disrupt
the level of adjacent tiles.
The TILE ADJUSTER, however, is
inserted between the tiles and behind
the tile needing adjustment so that
adjacent tiles aren't disturbed. And if
you use the MULTI-TOOL as a
backstop, you can easily tell when your
tiles are flush for a perfect finish.

23. "As a professional tiler I am always looking for gadgets to make
my life easier - this is one of them. It's great for adjusting tiles that
have been pushed 'in' too far. It's also handy for removing
spacers that are slightly proud, prior to grouting." Andrew.
25. CABLE CLAW
The J-HOOK is great for 'winkling'
cables and wires from tight,
awkward spaces.
26. SURETILE’S
OWNERS/DIRECTORS
Mark Sykes Martin Hemingway
A Surveyor by profession, Mark invented the MULTI-TOOL
about 4 years ago, the inspiration being a 'less than perfect'
professional tiling job he'd had done at home, together with
all the terrible tiling he's seen as a surveyor!
"I just felt that here had to be some tools on the market that
helped tilers make a better job of it. Well, there weren't, but
there are now!"
Martin has an engineering background and his invention, the
TileTracker, was developed predominantly for the building trade
and arose from his own experiences in the industry in which he
has been working for 25 years. Martin began developing the
TileTracker while working as a fitter for B&Q – and coming
across problems fitting tiles in houses hit by flooding. “The
traditional way of doing it wasn’t working,” he said. “I already had
a few ideas in my mind, so I developed a TileTracker for my own
use. My colleagues were so impressed with it that they
suggested I make some more.”
