Highlights the work of the more than 200 volunteer missionaries who serve at Utah's most visited tourist destination — Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
A guideline for building healthy churches. It examines three types of local Churches and Church workers. It states six commitments that produces a GREAT church.
In Christ’s life, we see His total victory over death. In His death on the cross, we see the price His suffering paid for our sin and sickness. He did not suffer for Himself. He suffered for us. His body was not beaten for Himself. He did it for us. We do Him honor expecting that His sacrifice was enough and by resisting the symptoms that He paid a price for.
Silvia, a pastor, said, “I fell down the stairs and my foot was put in a cast for 10 days. When removed it looked like Big Foot, hurting and swollen. I have been expecting total healing but only tonight, after prayer, are my feet the same and I can wear a skirt again! Just in time for my daughter’s wedding.”
The Assembly of God pastor said, “My leg was 3 times the size of a normal leg. I suffered for almost 40 years with pain and swelling! My leg is normal.”
Diocese of London Lent Appeal 2015. Who inspired you when you were younger?diolondon
Our Lent Appeal this year asks the question: 'Who inspired you when you were younger to become the person you are today?'
You might make an opportunity to share your answers in your prayer or study groups or other church groups, giving thanks to God.
Practically, the goal of our Lent Appeal is to fund additional youth, children and family workers to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve their communities.
We are raising funds for the Bishop of London’s Mission Fund, which is looking to support children, youth and family projects across the Diocese and who will be investing at least £1 million over the next three years in order to realise this goal.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

to proclaim good news to the poor. This idea of
announcing good news (euangelizomai) sets
the tone of Jesus’ ministry. He has not come
announcing judgement, but help for the needy
ones. His mission is primarily one of salvation.
Luke-Acts is remarkable in its avoidance of
anything condemnatory towards the poor or

uniformly one of ‘good news.’ He comes
speaking ‘words of grace’ (4:22).
