AppTick Mobility secures ShareholderApp distribution in Asia
Singapore launch to SGX-listed companies initiated
AppTick Mobility has signed a Pan-Asia distribution agreement with ShareholderApp, an investor-
relations focused mobile application based in New York, USA.
ShareholderApp delivers share price updates, company news, charts and all other material public
companies distribute as part of their regular investor relations program. As a communication
channel, it offers a more current, immediate and user friendly solution to inbox cluttering email
notifications, or the multi-click environment of corporate websites.
“This is our first major distribution deal and to establish early momentum, we have simultaneously
announced the launch of our introduction of ShareholderApp in the Singapore market.” reports
Managing Director, Mark Charland. “Singapore will be our showcase market for Asia. It’s ideal in
that it’s central, highly adoptive of new mobile technology and both the government and the
Singapore Exchange itself and are highly motivated to grow the SGX into a high caliber exchange.”
The AppTick/ShareholderApp partnership will focus on more than just a regional rollout. A key
element to this agreement is a joint commitment to develop the ShareholderApp product into a go-
to resource for all stakeholders within capital markets. “Obviously, my focus is in creating value for
Asian markets, but the principles involved are global.” says Mr. Charland. “We will seek input from
the full spectrum of stakeholders here, take that input into product and sales development planning,
then use it as a template across the region and ultimately, globally.”
ShareholderApp Co-Founder, Chris Muldoon, adds “We are very pleased with the opportunity this
agreement represents. Asia is a complex and highly diverse region. This partnership gives us a
physical presence, allowing us to be more deeply engaged with and responsive to corporate clients.
It ensures we capture the voice of the customer and translate that into an offer reflective of their
needs.”
AppTick Mobility was founded in Singapore, as the City-State offers a burgeoning start-up
community and has been consistently rated as one of the world’s top locations to do business.
“Certainly as a jumping off point to the rest of Asia, it’s unmatched.” says Mr. Charland.
The AppTick Mobility mission is to grow a library of investment related products of innovative
functionality and user-centric interfaces, in the mobile information and communications space,
aiming to provide high business value, and ease of user access. To compliment and expand on the
potential represented by the ShareholderApp distribution agreement, AppTick will execute an
ongoing search for development and distribution opportunities applicable to the region.
