Notes of the teaching for August 22, 2013
Sharing a word that I received from the Lord, and the way in which I analyze the word.
Invitation to do an activation from receivin a scripture from the Lord and analize it for personal benefit.
3. Let your spirit lead you
• This time I’m sharing with you the
way I analyze Words; most of the
time a word from the bible will
bring other scriptures to reinforce
the given word or idea, this in turn
causes that the Rivers of Living
water within us may freely flow
bringing in revelation.
4. The Holy Spirit helps us
• John in his Gospel says that the Comforter
will remind us from things that Jesus has
thought us.
• Paul says that the Spirit Himself testifies
with our spirit, helping us to understand the
mysteries of God.
• The more bible you have in you, the easier
to flow revelation will flow out of you.
6. Ready to go
• On Tuesday July 30th as I was seating in
the Airport waiting for my flight to Quito via
Miami, I took my bible and asked the Lord
to give me a passage from the bible that
be suitable for the moment.
• Immediately in my spirit I heard:
Revelation 3:8
7. Surprise… surprise…
• At first I thought I had received that
passage before, but after reading it, I
realized it was the first time that I have
received that scripture as a “word” for my
personal benefit.
• It took me all the day to digest it, to accept
it and to finally declare it and proclaimed
its benefit for me.
8. Receiving a word from
the Bible
• Every prophetic word reveals the
goodness of the Lord, and bring us closer
to Him.
• The main point of a prophesy is not to
highlight our qualities or gifting, but to
make us realize how much our Father
loves us and how great and constant His
favor is upon us.
9. First, Pursue HIS love
• 1 Corinthians 14:1 (NKJV)
• 1 Pursue love, and desire
spiritual gifts, but especially that you
may prophesy.
10. Then we can
edify, exhort and
comfort.
• 1 Corinthians 14:3 (NKJV)
• 3 But he who prophesies speaks
edification and exhortation and
comfort to men.
11. Here is the Word:
• Revelation 3:8 (NKJV)
• 8 “I know your works.
See, I have set before you an open
door, and no one can shut it;
for you have a little strength,
have kept My word,
and have not denied My name.
12. Analyzing the Word.
• I’m taking this passage just as one
unit, not relating it with the whole
chapter; but as if would be completely
on its own.
• Its not to the church of
Philadelphia, but it is for my personal
benefit.
• Some may say you are taking it out of
contest, it could be; but that is how I
felt in my spirit when receiving it.
13. I know your works.
• An impartial expression of judgment.
• Based on intimate personal relationship,
He knows all of my works, the good and
the bad ones.
• He knows the motives and reason of my
works which will be tested through fire.
• Invitation to reflect, to correct, to amend.
• To come back to the right trajectory, to
come back to the right path.
14. 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (NKJV)
• All of my works will be tried by fire.
• 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the
Day will declare it, because it will be revealed
by fire; and the fire will test each one’s
work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work
which he has built on it endures, he will
receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is
burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will
be saved, yet so as through fire.
15. Luke 12:48 (NKJV)
• I will be required in the proportion I have
received
• 48 But he who did not know, yet committed
things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten
with few. For everyone to whom much is
given, from him much will be required; and
to whom much has been committed, of
him they will ask the more.
16. See,
• To perceive with the eyes.
• To understand spiritually.
• To give attention or care.
• To perceive mentally.
• To find out.
• To inquire.
• Go and find yourself.
17. I have set before you
an open door
• 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)
• 20 For all the promises of God in
Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the
glory of God through us.
• The door is already open, the important
think is not to know where the door will
take me, but to take the step and enter
through it
18. James 1:17(NKJV)
• 17 Every good gift and every perfect
gift is from above, and comes down
from the Father of lights, with whom there
is no variation or shadow of turning.
• If He has open a door for me, surely it will
be according with His best plan for me,
so I will enter through the door and them
find out what is at the other side
19. An open door
• Could be to come closer to Him, to learn
to trust more in Him, to “see” as He sees.
• Could be an uncommon opportunity to
preach the Gospel.
• To enter into that place of blessings that
has been hard to get into.
• To enter into my promised land…
• To enter into the realm of revelation.
20. and no one can shut it;
• Romans 8:31(NIV)
• 31 What, then, shall we say in response to
these things? If God is for us, who can be
against us?
• Man does not have the authority to
change the will of God on any subject.
• No friend or foe can shut that open door!
21. He has the Key of David
• Revelation 3:7 (NKJV)
• … “He who has the key of David, He who
opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no
one opens”
• May Savior, My King has open a door of
opportunity for me and no one can shut
it, now, what about that?
22. for you have a little
strength,
• At first this saddened me…
• I thought, I’m strong,
• I’m well fit,
• I’m anointed,
• I'm…
• Pride can rise up from where you though
there is none. Humbleness to repent and
say teach me Lord will allow the flow of HS
23. 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV)
• Then, the Holy Spirit put in my
memory this scripture:
• 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV)
• 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,
in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions,
in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when
I am weak, then I am strong.
24. Psalm 18:1-2 (NKJV)
• One of my favorite Psalms comforted
me reminding me that HE is my
strength.
• 18 I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and
my deliverer; My God, my strength, in
whom I will trust; My shield and the horn
of my salvation, my stronghold.
25. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
• 9 And He said to me, “My grace is
sufficient for you, for My strength is
made perfect in weakness.”
• So little strength qualifies me to have His
strength in me, and He becomes the horn
of my salvation and my stronghold.
26. have kept My word,
• How we keep His Word?
• He is THE WORD!
• Reading it, Listening to it.
• Meditating it, Pondering it.
• Living it.
• Then HIS WORD will naturally
flow out of you.
27. Part of keeping His word is
reflected when:
• You are about to sleep and your mind and
mouth keeps reciting a scripture or making
declarations based on scriptures.
• You wake up realizing you were dreaming
of doing some kind of ministry.
• You go back to sleep with prices in your
mouth.
• You wake up with praising song in your
lips.
28. and have not denied My
name.
• John 6:68 (NKJV)
• 68 But Simon Peter answered
Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life.
• Peter put it very clear, away from
His name there is no where to go!
29. His name is a refuge
• Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV)
• 10 The name of the LORD is a
strong tower; The righteous run to
it and are safe.
30. His name brings
salvation.
• Romans 10:13
• New King James Version (NKJV)
• 13 For “whoever calls on the name
of the LORD shall be saved.”
31. Important to know His
name.
• Psalm 91:14 (NKJV)
• 14 “Because he has set his love
upon Me, therefore I will deliver
him;
I will set him on high, because he
has known My name.
32. We need to deny ourselves
and not deny His name
• Luke 9:23 (NKJV)
• 23 Then He said to them all, “If
anyone desires to come after
Me, let him deny himself, and take
up his cross daily, and follow Me.
33. Denying His name,
Not good at all
• Matthew 10:33 (NKJV)
• 33 But whoever denies Me before
men, him I will also deny before
My Father who is in heaven.
34. Great Satisfaction
• At the end of the day when I was arriving
home, my heart was swelling up with great
satisfaction upon embracing this word that
was giving to me.
• I linked it with the word given to me: “today
you are Zaccheaus.”
• And with the case of the fellow of the “fellow
servant” that I became as an illustration.
35. • So, that is the way how the Holy
Spirit gives me revelation of
scriptures
36. Activation time.
• And now it’s your turn.
• Ask from the Lord a passage from the
Bible that will speak into your life.
• Once you have it, write it down, ask Him
for revelation, and start to dissect it, so
you can see it from different angles.
• The Lord will always speak straight to
your heart. All Honor and Glory to Him.
37. • If you would like to ask questions
or discuss your points of
view, please feel free to share it
whether in class or give me a call.
