COMO is an interior design studio with ample experience in project development and
textile offerings for furniture and decoration. Each team member has a passion for
creating and executing avant-garde proposals tailor-made to each client. Being an
international firm, COMO values and is inspired from diverse cultures which can be
visible in their always eclectic and forward thinking designs.
Each space created by COMO praises functionality, creating a lifestyle and telling a
story all under its philosophy: "luxury without pretension".
COMO es un estudio con una amplia experiencia en desarrollo de proyectos de diseño
interior y venta de textiles para mobiliario y decoración. Cada miembro del equipo se
apasiona por crear y ejecutar propuestas vanguardistas, hechas a la medida de cada
cliente y su espacio. Siendo una firma internacional, ésta valora y se enriquece de
diversas culturas, y de la búsqueda constante de las nuevas tendencias.
Cada espacio creado por COMO enaltece lo mejor del diseño y su funcionalidad,

A comfortable, spacious, fresh and elegant apartment, a modern life develops in the
middle of art. The furniture and finishes are chosen with a critical eye where the
result is a relaxed perfection. The ocean view of the prestigious Key Biscayne area
complement the feeling that the space portrays.
Un apartamento cómodo, amplio, fresco y elegante donde la vida moderna se
desarrolla en medio del arte. Equipado con un mobiliario y acabados escogidos con
un ojo crítico donde no se exige menos que una relajada perfección. La vista al mar
de la zona prestigiosa de Miami, Key Biscayne, complementan el sentimiento que se
vive dentro de éste espacio.

For the apartment designed by the architect Federico Beckhoff in 1960, COMO
highlighted the space integration and respected it’s original architecture. With a
view to the mountains of Caracas and the elements of it’s modern architecture, the
firm focused on a concept inspired by the Bauhaus style of the 1930s’. With key
pieces like the rug designed by Tom Dixon for The Rug Company and the Warner
Planter chairs, COMO created an eclectic space where the residents work and at the
same time give a social welcome.
Para el apartamento diseñado por el arquitecto Federico Beckhoff en 1960, COMO
enalteció la integración de sus espacios y respetó su armonía original. Con la vista
a las montañas de Caracas y los elementos propios de su arquitectura moderna, la
firma se enfocó en un concepto inspirado en el estilo Bauhaus de los años 30. Con
piezas como la alfombra diseñada por Tom Dixon para The Rug Company y las sillas
de Warner Planter, COMO creó un espacio ecléctico, donde las cabezas del hogar
pueden trabajar y a la vez darle la bienvenida a encuentros sociales.

A typical Venezuelan home with a colonial style, surrounded by a garden with a half
moon terrace, is the soul of a modern family of five. The color palette in ambar,
yellow, gray and white tones are the key elements which integrate the spaces and
resonate the freshness and happiness that the home portrays. The colonial
aesthetics of the exterior MOOOI Paper Table are essential to maintain open spaces
and define the heart of the home on it’s terrace.
Una casa típica caraqueña con su estilo colonial, bordeada por un jardín en forma
de media luna, es el alma de una familia moderna de cinco. La paleta de color con
tonos ámbar, amarillos, grises y blancos, son el elemento clave para integrar los
espacios y resaltar la frescura y la alegría de la misma. La estética colonial de la
mesa exterior Paper Table de MOOOI, fue esencial para mantener los espacios
abiertos y a la vez definir el corazón del hogar en su terraza.

COMO managed to combine a significant furniture heritage with a careful selection of art
pieces like the picture from the renowned Venezuelan artist Cruz Diez; which leads the
blue color palette that is found throughout the home. On top of the white mosaic floor,
multiple styles are mixed obtaining a warm lived-in space that tells a story in the
essence of a pure eclectic style.
COMO logró combinar una herencia significativa de mobiliario con una selección
curada de piezas de arte, como el cuadro del artista venezolano Cruz Diez, la cual
lidera la paleta de color azul del hogar. Sobre los pisos de mosaico blanco, se resalta
la mezcla de múltiples estilos, logrando así un ambiente cálido, vivido y con historia,
englobado en la esencia pura de lo ecléctico.

This apartment surrounded by the fresh mountain air of Caracas was perfect to
create multi-functional spaces with a luxurious feel. Key elements like the diverse
heights of the black lamps by Dwell Studio combined with a vigorous color palette,
enhance the prestige of the space without forgetting the functionality of each of it’s
elements.
Este apartamento envuelto en el aire fresco de la montaña de Caracas fue el
escenario para crear espacios multi funcionales, con una esencia emblemática de
lujo. Elementos clave como las diversas alturas de las lámparas negras de Dwell
Studio, combinadas con una paleta de color vigorosa, hacen resaltar el prestigio del
ambiente, sin dejar atrás la funcionalidad de cada uno de sus elementos.

The romantic aspect about this house located on the diplomatic area of Caracas was
it’s “turn key” opening, where the client deposited their complete trust in COMO. The
interior design proposals and furniture contributed to the modern and sophisticated
space, combined with the personal touch of antique details and exclusive pieces like
the armchairs of the prestigious french firm: Les Heritiers.
Lo romántico de esta casa ubicada en la zona diplomática de Caracas fue su apertura
“llave en mano”, donde el cliente depositó su completa confianza en COMO. Las
propuestas de diseño interior y mobiliario lograron un espacio sofisticado y moderno,
combinado con el toque personal de detalles antiguos y piezas exclusivas como las
poltronas del salón principal de la selecta firma: Les Heritiers.

Inside the historic Country Club of San Salvador is the restaurant and bar with one of
the best wine selection in the country. In each of the proposals by COMO, the firm
creates a point of reunion for multiple generations. The element with the most
presence in the space is the custom-made oak wine cellar that displays the diverse
wine exhibit for the prestigious members that visit.
Dentro del conocido Country Club de San Salvador, existe el restaurante y bar con
una de las mejores selecciones de vino del país. En cada una de las propuestas de
COMO, la firma hace del lugar un punto de encuentro para múltiples generaciones.
El elemento de mayor prioridad y presencia es el mueble bodega de madera roble
diseñado a la medida, para resaltar la diversidad de su curada oferta y el prestigio
de cada miembro que lo visita.

For the restaurant located on El Encanto golf course, one of the most prestigious
residential development in San Salvador, COMO emphasized nature and freshness as
key elements in the design. The firm created a casual yet elegant style of dining so
that members could enjoy the exquisite food accompanied by the unique essence of
the space.
Para el restaurante al pie del campo de golf El Encanto, uno de los desarrollos
residenciales privados más prestigiosos de San Salvador, se logró resaltar la naturaleza
y su frescura como elementos principales. COMO creó un estilo casual y elegante, para
que sus miembros disfruten de su exquisita comida, acompañada de la esencia tan
única del lugar.

Yogashala, the yoga studio established in Caracas in 2003 and now in San Salvador,
is the current hub of all yoga practitioners and instructors in both countries. Its space,
modeled by wood and steel tones needed to be refreshed and modernized. COMO
created a harmonious balance between contemporary and urban design in concert
with the warmness of yoga and its Indian roots. The design proposal maintained
wood as the basic texture accompanied by different hues of blue that accentuate the
calm environment of the Shala.
Yogashala, la escuela de yoga fundada en la ciudad de Caracas en el año 2003 y
ahora en San Salvador, es el actual núcleo de todos los practicantes y maestros de
yoga en ambos países. Su espacio formado por tonos de madera y hierro necesitaba
un toque de refrescamiento y actualidad. COMO creó una armonía entre lo citadino
y moderno, junto a lo cálido del yoga y su raíz en la India. La propuesta de diseño
mantuvo la madera como textura protagonista, acompañada de distintos tonos de
azul que acentúan la calma en el Shala.
