nose, and mouth.

eye – used for seeing.
nose – used for breathing and

mouth – used for speaking and

your arms up, down, and
around.
arm – used for a lot of
movements such as throwing
and picking up things.

7. elbow – allows you to bend
your arms.
wrist – allows you to move
your hand.
hand - used for touching,
holding, and grasping.

8. trunk – contains many smaller
parts of the body.
waist – helps you bend your
body.
hip - connects the trunk to the
legs.

9. thigh – allows you to support
the weight of your body while
you move.
knee – allows you to bend your
leg

10. leg – used for a lot of
movements such as standing,
walking, running, and jumping.

11. foot – allows you to move from
place to place as you walk, run, or
jump. It also supports the weight
of your whole body.

12. ankle – connects the foot to
the leg. It also allows you to
wiggle your foot from side to
side.
toes– parts of the foot that
keep your balance as you move
your whole body.

13. heel – helps in the proper
movement of foot when you are
walking.
