Planner roles include:
• Demand / Forecast planning & monitoring and managing changes in Forecast Plan.
• To plan and manage stock across the supply chain ensuring levels specified are maintained and is used in the
appropriate order (FIFO).
• Responsible for follow up of all imported and local parts list sourced across the globe to support production.
• Highlight any potential production risk to plants and involve other departments as required. Check for various
options available for assistance from other alternative material sources and co-ordinate accordingly
• Arrange airfreight of critical parts in a timely manner, analyze and allocate cost responsibility for each airfreight
and get concurrence from relevant party.
• To ensure specified supplier delivery commitments are reflected in SAP, respond to supplier enquiries and
manage adherence of schedule lines (Exception Messages) to ensure delivery to plan, including new parts
introduction in line with all the relevant processes.
• To be the primary interface and lead operational relationships with suppliers to lead and co-ordinate all
improvement activity associated with planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time
• Inventory management by analyzing under shipments and over shipments on regular basis, identification of the
root causes and resolution
• Responsible for rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
• Coordinate with External Warehouse for shipment plan to ensure right quantity are shipped on time
• Responsible for timely support for ISIR by expediting production material into Plant.
• Coordinate with Change Management team and plan for Mandatory/Running changes.
• Following up with logistics coordinator for imports custom clearance and receiving material.
• Follow up with customer and prepare delivery schedule.
