Melissa Arévalo Gatica, María Francisca Rojas Victoriano
27/06/2013
 Context: 2nd
grade of High School in a subsidized school.
 Rubric 1: Rating Scale and Checklist for Vocabulary.
 Productive Skill: Speaking.
 “Oral Presentation”
 Task: The students will have to present a topic of their choice for 5 minutes,
individually. The presentation must include pictures, video(s) and colours, in order to
make the presentation attractive. The students will have to organize the content in
introduction, body and conclusion. Also, they must use body language, gestures and
a proper posture to make the speech more dynamic. The students must present their
topic with clear pronunciation in order to enhance comprehension from the audience.
They must keep in mind to avoid grammar mistakes. The students must be prepared
for answering questions from the audience or the teacher in order to demonstrate
their knowledge of the topic. Finally, vocabulary will be assessed in terms of
qualifying adjectives, use of basic connectors (Firstly, and, for, but, because, also,
finally), and spelling (words in the power point).
*** This task will be scheduled at the beginning of the semester and a calendar with
the presentations will be posted on the bulletin board (diario mural). Due to the time to
be consumed by the presentations, the teacher will randomly assign 5 students to present
each week.
