There are more women independent workers in this country (8.5 million) than stay-at-home moms (5.4 million). Cheerleader > Supporter visual storyline No one is going to be your cheerleader (Show cheerleader crossed out) .Instead, you’ll have to work to persuasively sell yourself to supporters – think of yourself as a business person. You are selling your business to your first strategic partners. Even before you get clients. They are:Your spouse – who may also be your investor and even, your children. They expect you a play a role, which may fundamentally shift as you move from employee or stay-at-home mother to a solo business person. Your family – they may help with something as simple as childcare, or they may bankroll youYour former employer – Big one, this may be the source of your first client relationship.
