I coached a girl’s 9-12 year old division club volleyball
team where I taught and motivated the team to improve
and gain skills. I believe in the “show-tell-do” method and
always practiced along with them. I feel this same way
about my dental patients. This experience also taught me
to clearly and effectively communicate with the players as
well as their parents.
I gained the skills to communicate and connect with every
client as well as helping them in anyway possible to have a
good experience in the store. This position taught me
organizational skills and time management skills, which I
have applied to my clinical dental hygiene experience. I
know and understand the true importance of how the
clients needs should always be placed first.
