ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
First of all, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Saturn
Engineering Systems. The internship opportunity I had with the Saturn
Engineering Systems was a great chance for learning and professional
development. My superiors and colleagues are knowledgeable in the
mechanical field and fluent in English. They shared that knowledge with me
so that I could make the most of my time with them.
Then, I express my gratitude to the Principal of the Faculty, Principal of
the Information Faculty of Ho Chi Minh city University of Food Industry,
for providing me with all the necessary facilities for the research.
Especially, I take this opportunity to express gratitude to my supervisor
who took her time to hear me and guide me complete this report perfectly.
Without her kind direction and support, my report would not have been
done.
Besides, I would like to say a big thanks to my parents, who always
supported, encouraged, and gave me attention through my study time at Dai
Nam University.
I feel that a qualitative internship is essential to develop key skills that I
can't get in a classroom. Skills such as multitasking, communicating,
learning to deal with diversity, and dealing with deadlines are different when
I am working for someone else, not myself in university. The internship is
also a great way to network with people in the industry.

Saturn Engineering Systems Viet Nam Company Limited has confirmed that
Nguyen Phuong Hac had completed an internship at our company from July 31st,
2020 to August 29th, 2020. During the internship, the Company has some
comments on Nguyen Phuong Hac's internship process as follows:
1. Regarding the sense of discipline:
Well obeying the rules and regulations of the company: Going to work on
time, complying with regulations, dressing properly, professional manner.
Actively participating in company activities. Good relationship with
colleagues, sociable, fun.
2. About expertise:
Having a good working spirit and a high sense of learning. Always complete
the assigned tasks on time.
Mastering the background of specialized theoretical knowledge. Knowing how
to apply theory to practice.
We are very satisfied with her work attitude as well as her ability to handle

I. INTRODUCTION
1. Profile of internship place
a. Introduction
Name of company: Saturn Engineering Systems Viet Nam Company Limited
Branding name: SES Viet Nam
Saturn Engineering Systems Viet Nam Company Limited, located in Vinh
Long Viet Nam, a company with 100% foreign investment. This is a factory
whose project was moved from China to Vietnam established in May 2020. The
founder of SES is Young Nguyen Thanh Dung.
Vision of the company: by 2030, the company will become one of the
leading foreign-invested enterprises in engineering, mechanical engineering in
the Mekong Delta and the largest company in Vinh Long.
The company's mission is making jobs for local workers, improving the skills
of workers to meet factory technical requirements and real society. In addition,
the business also carries the mission of educating, promoting the transfer of
mechanical engineering technology to local universities and colleges,
performing social responsibility, serving the community and international links.
With this goal, SES wishes to establish sustainable cooperation with partners
and supply chains to have a stable source of goods for the factory. In addition,
they are very pleased to cooperate with prestigious technical training schools
such as Vinh Long University of Technical Education in order to find a source
of high-quality labor for the operation and production of the factory.
SES offers the following products to customers: Hydraulic Jack, Tool
cabinet. In order to produce these two objects, there are many processes of sand

casting, CNC machining, heat treatment, stamping, stamping die, laser cutting,
sheet metal machining, sheet metal fabrication, hot dip galvanized steel, powder
coating, assembling, testing, packaging. In addition, company also need
sourcing to buy more external parts to assemble products
b. Business background
This enterprise - produces equipment and spare parts for the auto repair
industry. This is the first 100% American company in Vinh Long with the scale
of 4 hectares. In the past, the enterprise ordered from China companies and
exported products to the US. Currently, the company actively builds factories
and manufactures most of the parts, then assembles and exports them to the US
market. If the parts have not been manufactured yet, the company orders them
from domestic suppliers.
In 2020, due to the impact of the COVID19 epidemic, the number of
unemployed workers in the US will increase, the need for home repairs will
increase. Since then, the demand for home car repair equipment to export to the
US market is also a big impact on the factory to increase production.
c. Markets
Key markets: The USA.
d. Customers
SES customers are the American garages and people. The number of products
sold to the market is nearly 12,000 sets per year, approximately 10,000 customers
per year

2. My expectations in internship time
My expectation for the internship was to get further research experience,
learn new methods, improve technical vocabulary in translation, improve my
English skills and experience the inner workings of a company in a company.
I perceive this opportunity as a big milestone in my career development. I
will strive to use gained skills and knowledge in the most possible way, and I
will continue to work on their improvement in order to attain desired career
objectives.
3. Time duration
In accordance with the schedule of university, my internship time was July
31th 2020 and ended on August 29th, 2020.
I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Assignedtasks at internship place
My task is translating specialized documents, BOM (bill of material) to make
customs declarations. BOM is a list of spare parts that need to be machined by
themselves or need to be purchased from local suppliers to assemble into
finished products. In addition, I also translate pre-production report analysis so
that the manager can choose the suitable production process, machinery and
spare parts for their process. In addition, I also translate documents introducing
the company's key products, features and uses of the products manufactured in
Vietnam. These will be translated from Vietnamese into English by me.
In addition, the manager of engineering and production instructors required
me to read through English materials and rewrite them in Vietnamese, ensuring
that the meaning of the source texts was retained. The texts include parts such as

introductions, scholarships and study programs of universities. They were
culturally and linguistically adapted to suit the reader. After finishing, I sent
back to his email. I worked from 8.30 am to 6 pm and had 1.30 hours for break
time.

2. Advantages and disadvantages during internship period
a. Advantages
Working as a translator has helped me enhance translation skills that I never
thought they are important. I not only learned how to translate specialized
documents about mechanics but I also practiced office skills and communication
skills.
Foreign management staff and supplier helped me to be more confident in
speaking English, and get a lot of new words that I had never known. Also, I
have more knowledge about universities, capitals, countries worldwide.

I have learnt ways to arrange my schedule. Normally, I often delay the
deadline and I am not on time. But when working at SES, I always work on time
and became a time-conscious person.
b. Disadvantages
Firstly, the factory has not operated yet, so the company is only located with
a representative office in Vinh Long province. The working time is not like the
regulations because it depends on the working time of the board of directors. So,
I have no chance to keep track of reading production report analysis.
In addition, during talks, I could not get all the information because of my
poor listening skills. As a result, the Director staff facilitated me to attend talks
more regularly.
Finally, I could not remember all the information of some universities
because there were too much and I sometimes had to ask the Director to help me
remember little information.
