1. How does my magazine represent
certain social groups!
My magazine’s genre is mainstream, this
is all the music in the Top 40 Chart, my
target audience and the social group I
am aiming at are teenagers and people
in there 20’s who enjoy listening to
music in the charts. The music mostly in
the top 40 chart is usually pop and R&B
including artists such as; Flo Rida,
Rihanna and Tinie Tempah. Therefore
the music in my magazine is mostly of
these genres because a majority of my
audience would like to see this genre
and these artists.

2. My magazine is for people aged 13-
30 and it is a magazine to inform
and interest people about the top
40 chart and the newest albums
and news. The social groups I will
be targeting are people who like
new fresh music and love to chat
I chose a blazer for the artist on my front
about the latest up and coming cover to wear because many fashionable
talent. Also many social groups artists wear blazers including Tinie Tempah!
copy fashion and styles from
popular musicians and artists,
therefore having somebody on the
front cover who is wearing
fashionable clothing will entice this
social group to buy the magazine so
they can copy this style.

3. Overall I believe my magazine will
interest people in social groups who
enjoy listening to R&B, Rap, Hip Hop and
Pop. This is because my magazine is
about the latest big tunes in the Top 40
Chart and mostly in the charts are these
genres. Also the clothing worn by the
artists in my magazine will attract certain
social groups who are influenced by
celebrities and will want to copy there
style to be like them. I don’t think my
magazine would relate to people who
like rock music or indie music because
these genres do not feature heavily in
the Top 40 Charts nowadays.
