Water-borne illnesses are widespread in impoverished nations where access to clean water and decent living conditions is only a dream. Simply said, germs like viruses and bacteria that enter the body through polluted water or contact with excrement
cause water-borne disorders.
The most common water-borne illnesses and what may be done to avoid them are listed here.
•Typhoid:-
It spreads through tainted food, water, and unsanitary conditions. As typhoid is so infectious, it must be treated right away. Typhoid fever symptoms include:-

Prevention
1.Avoid consuming unbottled or unsealed water when in an area with low sanitation.

•Dysentery:-

Cholera:- Cholera is mostly spread by contaminated water and can be lethal within hours of exposure to the germs. Cholera symptoms include the following:-
•Diarrhea
•nausea and diarrhea
•tension in the muscles
Prevention
•Cleanse your hands with soap and water regularly.
•Don’t consume any raw or undercooked food.
•Consume bottled water and fruits that you have peeled yourself.

There are several strains of the E. coli bacterium, some beneficial, while others are deadly. Animal manure is a
source of bacteria on farms where food is cultivated for human consumption. E. coli symptoms include:-
•Fever
•nausea and diarrhea
•Dehydration
•stomach pain
Prevention
•Drinking water from sources that can be polluted is not recommended.
•Be sure to wash all of your produce thoroughly.
•Use a decent antibacterial soap and water to wash your hands often.
•Giardia:-
This infection may spread through polluted water and is mostly brought on by a parasite. After a person has been
exposed to the parasite, giardia can develop digestive difficulties that continue for years. Giardia symptoms include
the following:
•stomach aches and cramps
•Nausea
•Diarrhea
•Bloating
•Loss of weight
Prevention
•Regularly wash your hands with clean water and soap.
•Avoid gulping down water while you swim.
•Only sip bottled water.
