EverQuest II is the latest version of the virtual reality game EverQuest, which was
created by an American company. It is played online by thousands of people worldwide.
These people imagine that they are actually inside a simulated environment. Some
players say that they actually believe that they live in Norrath, the virtual country in
EverQuest II, and not on Earth.
EverQuest ll differs from EverQuest in a few ways. In EverQuest, players choose the
characters. In EverQuest II, players create their own characters, so each character is
unique and has got its own personality.
Any character entering EverQuest II has got the opportunity to have hundreds of exciting
adventures, using virtual money and products and interacting with other characters from
around the world.
EverQuest II is extremely popular and some people spend more time playing than
working in their real jobs. One player said he loved playing with his children. He added
that he loved the game because there was no end, the world was enormous, the
possibilities endless and, above all, it was a place to go and relax among friends!
