Page, posting to your Page's Wall, liking, commenting on or sharing one of your Page posts, answering a Question you

17. Likes & Engagement
ABC15 - 102,335 LIKES 12,365 Talking About This (TAT) = 12% engagement rate
18. Likes & Engagement
12News - 38,070 LIKES 8,642 Talking About This (TAT) = 23% engagement rate
22. Likes, Engagement, Metrics = Business
If you are social (utilize EdgeRank) and get to know your online
community/customers your ‘Likes’ will increase, your reach will increase and
your TAT will increase. This gives you more opportunities to market and connect
with your customers.
If you understand how to measure utilizing Facebook insights and other 3rd party
metrics then you can test different marketing and sales strategies via social
media and see what’s working and not working. This in turn will affect your
bottom line.
23. Tweaks to the FB Algorithm
You may need to set aside advertising money for Facebook to increase reach.
If you’re doing good you’re getting 15-20% reach. Brands have been losing about
6.5% of their reach since the change.*
However, from the examples in this presentation you can see it’s still possible to
have a big reach. So, stay engaged, stay social and then compensate with
advertising when needed.
Promote the popular stuff!
