LYFT
The Uber rival will start operating in its first international market, Toronto, next month. The company is estimated to grab one-third of the US market in 2017, according to a Lyft investor document.
 
TRAVEL BAN
A US appeals court has allowed President Trump’s travel ban to go into partial effect. The government can ban travelers from six Muslim-majority countries from if they don’t have a connection to the US.
 
BLOOD PRESSURE
Almost half of Americans — roughly 103.3M adults —have high blood pressure following a new 130/80 threshold for the diagnosis. It’s the first major rule change in 14 years.
