Andrew Stoner is a former member New South Wales Legislative Assembly. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Oxley. He was a Member, Joint Standing Committee Upon Road Safety from June 1999 to March 2002.

Andrew Stoner was born in 1960 in Brisbane,
Queensland. Later his family moved to Grafton,
New South Wales, where he received a
Bachelor of Business from the Queensland
Institute of Technology in 1985. Later, he
received a Master of Business Administration
with first class Honours from James Cook
University in 1993.

agency manager and a regional manager in the
Australian Public Service. In 1999, he was
elected into the Parliament and joined National
Party of Australia, representing Oxley. He also
served as The Leader of the NSW Nationals
from March 2003 to October 2014.

portfolios. He handled portfolios, including,
Emergency Services, Sport and Recreation,
Regional Development, Natural Resources,
Energy and Utilities, Ports, Roads, Water
Utilities, Road Infrastructure, Education, Skills
Development, Primary Industries, and State
Development.

Andrew Stoner was elected as The Deputy
Premier for a period of 3 years and 6 months.
He handled various portfolios from 2011 to 2014.
Stoner served as the Minister for Regional
Infrastructure and Services, Minister for Trade
and Investment, Minister for Small Business,
Minister for Tourism and Major Events, and
Minister for North Coast.

He supervised more than $13 billion of
infrastructure investment in regional NSW,
particularly road, rail and water infrastructure,
enhancing the productivity of regional industries
including agriculture and mining. In addition to
his responsibilities, he has been committed to
his community too, and was involved with
various organizations such as Rotary, Lions, and
Chambers of Commerce.
