1. What is Eliberato

Eliberato is a new way to publish your book. In the past, the vast majority of
authors remained unpublished and as a result many works remained unread due
to the commercial restraints on publishers. Conventional publishers were unable
to publish books due to their own self imposed niche requirements and the
perceived lack of interest in some subjects.

Now, with Eliberato, it is possible to publish any work quickly and easily. All
publishing is electronic. As an author all you need to do is upload your book to
the Eliberato website and you can immediately make it available to readers
  worldwide.

Readers can download your book to their computer or e-reader.

Not since the invention of the printing press by Johannes Gutenberg in 1440 has
there been such a huge step forward in the availability of mankind’s written
  thoughts.

2. Will Eliberato publish my book?

Yes. Eliberato is available to all authors to publish their work. Books can be
published in any language and on any subject. At the moment there are over
seventy categories into which an author can place their work. It is up to the
individual author as to which category they place their work. In some cases a
book may be suitable for more than one category and this will enable readers to
  find it.

3. What type of material is published?

Any. Eliberato is keen to encourage the publication of books, magazines, poems,
technical manuals, research papers etc on any subject. The only restrictions on
subject matters are clearly explained in our standard terms and conditions, but
in short, books adhere to common decency.
We always reserve the right to remove books which do not meet our terms and
conditions. In addition to this, we give all our readers the opportunity to
highlight books which they feel are objectionable in some way. If a complaint is
received regarding a particular book we will notify the author concerned.

4. How much will it cost me?

Nothing. Our aim is to provide a method for authors to reach readers. We
believe that good books will sell. Our role is to provide you with a way to reach
  people.

5. What about the cover design?

The cover of any book is important. It is the very first impression that you will
give a potential reader, so give it some thought. When you upload your book to
the Eliberato website you will be given the opportunity to upload an image that
  will become the cover.

The cover image should be in jpeg (.jpg) format. It must be separate to the
PDF. You can upload it to the server from your control panel. This image does
not use up any part of the 20MB allocation for your eBook.

6. Who will read my books?

Anyone, anywhere in the world. Our aim is to set the word free. We want your
  voice to be heard.

7. Who edits my book?

You do. Eliberato does not edit your book. If you feel that you would benefit
from the work of a professional editor you are free to do so at any stage. You
can always amend your book at any stage.

8. Does Eliberato publish traditional paper books?
No. Eliberato is only involved in electronic publishing and does not plan to
   publish paper books.

9. What language should I write in?

Any language. There are no restrictions on the language that you publish your
work in. We welcome authors from all corners of the world. This Simple Guide to
Publishing on Eliberato is translated into over 58 languages.

10. What file format should I use?

PDF. We ask all authors to publish their work in the PDF format as this has
become the standard for all electronic books.

PDF stands for Portable Document Format (PDF) and is a generic computer
term. PDF files are the most common way of publishing eBooks and can
therefore be used on all computers and and are easily converted to other
formats for Kindle, iPad and other eReaders.

If you are new to creating PDF files you may already have the appropriate
software on your computer. To find out – simply open a file you have been
working on, then SAVE AS a pdf or EXPORT AS a pdf, depending on your
   software.

Alternatively you can learn how to create PDF files using a variety of programs
and techniques by searching the internet. This approach will help you with both
basic PDF creation and ways to enhance your PDF files.

   File Size

For eBooks with images you can experiment with lowering the JPEG compression
quality. The lower the percentage the more the images are compressed, and so
the smaller the PDF file becomes. A figure of between 75% and 90% is likely to
be satisfactory. Don't forget to review the PDF file before uploading it and please
remember that your file must not exceed 2MB for it to be uploaded to Eliberato.
If you need more information about PDF files please visit of Guide to PDF
      available on the Eliberato website.

11. Can my book be read on the latest e-readers like Kindle and iPad?

Yes. There are a large number of new e-readers coming onto the market and
they all support the PDF format or software into which PDF can be converted.

12. How do I choose a category?

There are over seventy categories to choose from. It is up to you to decide
which best suits your book. It may help to ask yourself where a reader would
look for your book if they knew it was on the Eliberato website.

13. Can I be listed in more than one category?

Yes. Again, it is up to you to decide how may categories you wish to be listed in.

14. Will I be paid?

Yes. When you upload your book you are given the option to decide if you wish
to sell your book or if you wish to give it away for free. This is up to you.

If you wish to sell your book, we will pay you 75% of all sales.

We do not make any payment to you if you decide to give your book away for
      free.

15. How will I receive the money?

PayPal When you upload your book to the Eliberato website we ask you to
provide some details about yourself so that we can make payments to you. You
will need a PayPal account if you wish to be paid.

16. What is the best way to promote my book?
Tell everyone about it! Once you have uploaded your book we will provide you
with the direct link to it. You can copy and paste this link into your blog, emails,
social network sites etc and let people know about your book.

Many authors use Twitter, Facebook, Ushi, QQ and many other social network
      sites to promote their work.

In addition to this, Eliberato works hard to promote all authors so that you are
not alone! We are all working together to set the word free!

17. OK! I’m ready to publish.

Great! Here is list of what you will need.

      (a) Your finished book in PDF format.
      (b) A cover image in JPEG format
      (c) A PayPal account

Please remember that you can always contact us if you need any help or support
      in publishing your book

      Finally, good luck!
