Promotional A majority of the time the promotion for the
band or artists music video will be from social
network online sites where people over the
world can see, e.g. YouTube gives out a lot of
promotion because you can subscribe to the
bands so when there new music comes out it
would come up on your feed. Also a lot of
promotion comes from selling albums because
people start to notice bands/ artists when the
album starts to become popular.
Evidence for promotion can be found on YouTube by searching the name of the
band or the title of the music video and viewing how many views likes and
peoples thoughts in the comment section. YouTube also has a column where it
brings up suggested or related videos which are relevant to the music video you
are currently watching.

music and just start to really like there music.

good way to make profit and at the same time

buy bands or artist merchandise at a lot of
places; they usually sell at the bands gigs and
tours or at a festival which the band is playing
at. When people buy the items for example a T-
shirt they then would then be advertising it to
the public thus promoting, Also you can find
merchandise on the bands main website or on
other music websites.
An example of synergies is that you could Google search the internet for the
specific band or artists and links to the website which you could buy the
merchandise at will come up. Also if the band is playing at a festival which you
know of and are going to then you will find the merchandise being sold there.

Producers strategies Producer’s strategies to promote the band/
artist are used regular in public. They can pay to
have the new album cover posted on a billboard
where the public can see which will then notify
them about the upcoming album. Also the
producers are the ones who come up with the
adverts on Tv and sort out the logos for the
covers of the bands albums.
