An elevator pitch is a short summary used to quickly define a person, product, service, or company and its value proposition. It should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, which is about 60 seconds. An effective elevator pitch gets straight to the point by summarizing "what you are" and "what you want" in the brief time available to make a good first impression. It must answer who the target audience is, what problem is being solved, how the problem is solved, who is behind the project, and what makes the project special.
