Pfizer/Wyeth 1997 – 2015:
Manufacturing Systems MES SME / Support Engineer – 2012-2015
As part of the IT/BT Group, I was responsible for IT/BT technical solutions/support for multiple MES systems
across the Pfizer global network to minimize production outages. To do this, I developed many strong system
support relationships with other I.T. resources, multiple external software and hardware vendors as well as
site/client representatives across the Pfizer network. Traveled as necessary to assure client issue resolution.
Involved in many other projects outside of system support activities including system enhancement
rollouts/upgrades, system decommissioning, archiving, support process improvement and support of “core”
non-production environments.
MES Lead Software Engineer and I.T. Business Consultant – 1997-2012
Was I.T. lead for full life-cycle of both Flowstream and Rockwell PMX MES systems for the site’s Central
weighing/dispensing area and manufacturing of intermediates and Final Bulk product at the Sanford
manufacturing plant.
• Managed the MES electronic Master Batch Record Authoring team, mostly non-I.T., and was responsible
for the development of authoring standards, conventions, process mapping, planning, requirements for
on-floor equipment, validation strategies, revision control, security, and audit/inspection strategy and
preparation. Had an open-door policy with my team and provided mentoring and guidance whenever
requested.
• Very familiar with GMP/cGMP regulations related to electronic record systems including 21CFR part 11
(electronic records/e-signatures) and system development under GAMP® 5 guidelines and helped
develop conformance standards to meet guidelines and BOH regulations.

2. • Responsible for support of all MES system integrations including correctness and transmission of ERP
material and order data, SOP links, LIMs data, DCS batch creation and alarm data, and data retrieval
from Pi Historian.
• Developed integration, configuration and validation of interfaces to on-floor HMIs and integrated
equipment such as label printers, barcode scanners, scales, freezers, temperature instruments and
assured that the equipment met the correct clean room classification.
• Lead team to create a tool & methodology for determining future scope recommendations for MES
implementation which became the standard tool for Wyeth MES implementations.
• Knowledgeable in full software development lifecycle (SDLC and GRC) for applications to enterprise
systems. Authored and contributed to many controlled documents including SDLC documentation, project
plan, risk analysis/assessments, technical specifications, validation processes and documentation
(IQ/OQ/PQ), and SOPs including end-user documentation.
• Involved in developing business-unit collaborative efforts for standardization and Community of Practices
including systems Master Data, MES Inspection readiness, Electronic Log books, MES audit strategies,
risk-based testing, archiving methodology, data porting, and MES conformance standards.
• Provided management with budgeting information, support status, and future planning strategies,
scheduling/resource conflicts and other proposals.
• Performed role of PM for many small to mid-size MES sub-projects and other external projects that
involved coordination across many business organizations including QA, Validation, Engineering,
Operations and Compliance groups including Regulatory Affairs.
• Worked with the Quality Assurance group to help develop Review by Exception (RBE) requirements.
Developed, validated and deployed an in-house batch release reporting system which significantly
reduced QA Disposition and Issuance touch times and length of time for batch disposition.
• Developed MES support processes and created custom UNIX-based applications and Shell scripts
support tools for the Flowstream product to bring more system value to the business clients.
• Created and instructed technical training courses pertaining to system design, administration for local
support, and development tools.
• Developed and instructed multiple in-house training programs including an MES development boot-camp
for new team members and system users.
Interealty Corp./PRC Inc. 1989 - 1997:
Lead Software Engineer – 1993-1997
Responsible for the maintenance, development and enhancement of numerous customized Public Records
(property tax) database systems for the Boards of Realtors located across Florida. As the single I.T. resource
at the office my duties encompassed developing software to meet the customer’s requirements.
Responsibilities include system and database design, data acquisition and specification from county
governments, system administration for HP mid-range UNIX servers, maintaining baseline software, database
administration and revision control. Served as team lead and technical advisor for any programming efforts
related to the company’s Public Records system.
Support Programmer – 1989-1993
Responsible for C coding changes and enhancements to meet customer requirements for Public Records
database systems nationwide. Performed troubleshooting of communication equipment and fully supported all
of the client’s computers at branch office.
