My focus on life is research and learning. At the moment I’m interested in personalised learning and how technology can be used to support that. My first degree is in Internet Computing and I’m a fairly proficient programmer in Java, Javascript with some PHP as well as a host of mark-up languages. I have a background in retail management which has given me excellent people and organisation skills. When not working I enjoy reading about science in general. I like to be active although my PhD has curtailed activities in recent years, now that’s over I can get back to it. I’m interested in mycology and spend many weekends tromping around with my camera.
