The rivers of northern Europe empty into the Arctic Ocean. These rivers have a high flow.
They freeze in winter. The most important ones are:

2. Atlantic Ocean watershed.
These rivers have a high flow due to the regular rainfall. The most important rivers are:
● The Elbe, the Rhine and the Seine.
● Other rivers in this group, such as the Oder and the Vistula, empty into the Baltic Sea.
3. Mediterranean watershed.
Characteristics of these rivers: short rivers with low or irregular due to summer droughts
