Story synopsis
A sequencing of events in story order
Three Act Structure
BEGINNING:
The protagonist, an averageteenage schoolboy of around 17 year old, is
on his way home fromschool. He is alone with headphones on, walking
through a woods/park, with the day being darker than usual as it is
nearing winter. There are dog walkers and randomtravellers in the
distance and the whole of London can be seen fromone point.
He seems to be happy and enjoying the walk, but a senseof danger fills
the scene.
There are many leaves on the ground and mud piles that he can slip on,
but he only slips once.
MIDDLE:
The protagonistsees two hooded characters in the distanceand is
instinctively put on edge, because he has to deal with bullies in school
regularly. As they get closer he tries to walk a different route to see if
they are planning to do something to him, but unfortunately they also
follow his change of path.
He takes out his headphones but before he knows it, they are running at
him and seem to be holding weapons. Heruns away, sprinting as fastas
he can, but they eventually catch up to him and demand that he hands
over his phone and wallet. He gives them a phone, but it is his fakeone
for a situation exactly like this.
He runs away but they then realise that it’s not his actual phone and
catch back up to him, beating him furiously and taking both his new
phone and his schoolbag.

END:
Almost 10 minutes after they left with his possessions, hegets himself
together and walks home with bruised, battered and full of contempt.
When he reaches the end of the park and is roadside, he sees a crowd of
people surrounding a car stopped in the road. He walks closer and notices
that there has been an accident, involving one of the hooded men that
attacked.
He looks over and sees his schoolbag on the sideof the road, picks it back
up and continues walking home appreciating the significanceof karma,
slightly raising his spirits after the experience.
