Kushal, who wasvery creative and enjoyed George’scooperation.
Thanks so much for joining us today George, I know you’re a busy man
so I won’t waste your time.
No problem the pleasures all mine, I should be thanking you for letting
me be in my film favouritemagazine.
Thank you, now let’s get started, what inspiredyoutobecome an
actor?
I remember how much I enjoyed my drama lessons in school sinceit
opened my eyes to being more than justmyself. But it was during my
GCSE that I had the most fun sincewe started doing scripted work which
was great. I was never really good at the theory side, but my teacher
always said I was a natural when it came to acting and performing.
Did you have a lot of people to support you?
Yeah, I spent mostmy time talking to my best mates KushalShingadia
and Fraser Hallett.
Wow! I didn’t know you were friends withKushal, the amazing effects
editor!
Yeah, me and him used to make loads of little projects while we were in
school.
What are your most memorable moment withyour friends?
Hmm…..probably when I ate a bags of plums and was sick for a week.
Man, that sound rough.
Yeah it was but it was a good thing becauseI got to revise for my media
and drama exams.
Great words for your younger fans, so what was your favourite
production?
Oh that’s easy, my absolute favourite production was when me and
Kushalmade a live action adaptation of the famous anime Dragon Ball Z.
2. Wow! Could you give us a brief rundown for those that don’t know
about this anime?
It’s mainly about these people with really strong powers thatcan
destroy whole planets and reach beyond their limits. I highly
recommend watching it.
Amazing!Seems like something I may do tonight! So what did you and
Kushal get up to whenyou were kids?
Oh man, well…One time I went to my to Kushal’s houseto watch The Big
Bang Theory and Sky Fall but we ended up play video games. After a
while I got thirsty so I went to the kitchen and saw a jar, but it wasn’t
any kind of jar it was special, it was peach syrup. So I drank the lot.
Did you get in trouble?
I didn’t, but Kushal’s mum thought that he had drank the whole
thing, so he got grounded.
Wow, what other naughtythings did you do?
One time I took my dad’s camera when he wasn’t home and I took
all kinds of pictures. See where I lived it used to rain a lot so most
days, rainbows would appear. I loved taking pictures of them, then
green screening pictures onto it.
So you’re quite good with computing?
Not all that, I just know a few basics I learned from my media and
ICT lessons.
You mentioned you were friends with FraserHallett, what
movies has he been in?
Oh he’s beenin that Inbetweeners film as well as in its sequel,he
really funny and loves the roles he plays.
Inbetweeners huh?Did you take partin that movie?
Funnily enough I did, I played the role of Jay, one of the main
characters.
Well due to time restrictionsthat’s all we have time for so
