Polen global growth sma institutional fact sheet (march 2015)
1. POLEN GLOBAL GROWTH
Investment Objective
Our Global Growth strategy seeks to achieve long-term growth
by building a concentrated portfolio of outstanding global
businesses with competitive advantages and the potential for
sustained superior growth.
Philosophy
We believe consistent earnings growth is the driver of long-term
stock appreciation. Accordingly, our efforts focus on identifying
and investing in a concentrated portfolio of leading growth
businesses that we believe are capable of delivering
sustainable, above-average earnings growth.
We seek to invest in global businesses with strong and durable
earnings growth driven by a sustainable competitive advantage,
superior financial strength, proven management teams and
value-added products and services. We hold the view that such
exceptional businesses not only have the potential to contribute
outsized returns but are inherently less risky. Their superior
earnings power and financial strength serve as a “Margin of
Safety” for long-term investors.
