Let’s roll up our sleeves and talk about the nitty gritty of Iron & Pedal. We have revamped a historic Carnegie Library into an
organic and interactive gas•tro•pub smack-dab in the hub of Pittsburgh. With the inspiration of the Ferris wheel, meshing gears
generating water to cascade in an underscoring experience. Cutting edge technology fused into table tops with chalkboards
and projections grazing the walls, introducing a fresh hi-tech staple. The raw balance of ferrous metals and unfinished woods are
an unexpected nod to the modern day burger joint.
3. OFFICE
My concept was constructed around the contemporary and modern feel through the idea of “ the Batman of Minneso-
ta.” I brought in linear patterns and forms and allowed the natural lines and textures of nature within Minnesota to be
present. With the considerations of an advertising agencies, I allowed space for creative workspaces and collaborative
areas for social interactions. My first commercial office space project was designed for the Ford Centers’ 5th floor. The
Gotham advertising agency is originally based out of New York, expanded to Minnesota and used this space as their
new home away from home.

HOSPITALITY
Referencing a period in time, the Century Hotels’ interior portrays an authentic and modern mid-century space.
“Democratic design,” is an expression for simplistic forms and natural shapes this is juxtaposed by concrete blocks,
plywood and car decking. Space exploration was very popular during this period therefore, vintage suspension lamps
and space rocket wall art installations will be set against warm woods and 50s inspired splashes of color. This iconic
style will take cues from the past and hints of the present to allow this space to have a nostalgic ambiance.
