1. Welcome to Mrs. Rea’s 4/5 Split Class! All about Me! Questions ???

2. I am married with 3 children. Lexie is 11, Domonic is 10, and Luc is 7. My family

3. My Education I graduated from Madonna University in May of 2001. My major was Science and my minor was Elementary Education.

4. Never stop being a student… I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in reading at Madonna University. I will finish this Spring!!!

5. My Experience This is my seventh year of teaching! I have always taught at Taft. For five years I taught 1 st grade and for one year I was Taft’s Literacy Coach, K-3. I am very excited to teacher upper elementary students this year!

6. My Philosophy I believe in being the kind of teacher that I want my own children to have. I will treat each child fairly and will make every effort to ensure their academic success. I will strive to create a classroom of lifelong learners.

7. What is a 4/5 split? A. A 4/5 split at Taft will consist of 14 4 th graders and 13 5 th graders taught by Mrs. Rea. B. A 4/5 split has 4 4 th graders and 5 5 th graders. C. You can order a 4/5 split at Dairy Queen!

10. Why is my child in this type of classroom? A. They love eating banana splits! B. They were specially chosen due to their independent work ethic and their ability to work with others . C. We picked names out of a hat on the last day of school!

13. Will my child be taught their own grade level curriculum? A. Yes B. No C. Maybe

16. Does Mrs. Rea welcome volunteers into the classroom? A. Never!!!!!!!!!!!! B. Always!!!!!!!!! C. Only if they bring her a banana split!
