An electronic democracy project was presented to increase transparency and public participation in Larga, Moldova. The goals were to install a webcam in the mayor's office to record public meetings, create a community website with information on activities, and allow online communication with leaders. This would help ensure access to information, especially for those with disabilities. The project's success was that meetings could now be viewed for free at the community center and an informational website was created, strengthening connections between community members.

Project ’s Goals Increasing transparency of the public administration’s activities and increasing public participation in political life through intermediary technological information and communication, assuring easy, non-discriminatory access to public information , especially for users with disabilities.

5. Problem The risk of withholding or distorting event information, which in turn causes misinformed and ignorant citizens, therefore, the decisional process must be precise and absolute so the local government can adequately address citizen’s needs.
