3. Around the main image I put some of my magazine features to show readers what else is going to be in the magazine. Using some of the big names such as “Usher” and “Nicki” (Nikki Minaj) which come up popular on my reader profile to help attract my target audience. Also put other names which may attract a wider range of customers who are fans of these artists.
4. My Media Magazine uses a unique masthead of the magazine as the main image on the cover is intersecting part of the masthead, without making it unreadable. I used a consistent font throughout my front cover. With the title despite making it the largest text on the page I made it bold as well to help it stand out. This was something I was advised to after receiving feedback from peers.

7. The main photo is almost directly in the middle of the page with a small paragraph underneath Hip-Hop/R&B magazines such as Vibe such as usually contain no more than 2 images with the main focus being on the artist featured on the front cover.

10. The leading representation is not based purely on Music for the fan-base of this genre. Body image and appearance is a major factor in the R&B culture and has had a big effect on the followers of R&B's fashion.
11. My target audience would be 14- 25 year olds, so teens to young adults who will be easily attracted by the appearance of the artist and be more easily taken in the some who say is older and more “mature”.
12. My media product also represents the younger generation as the artist on the front is young , also the magazine will feature a lot of upcoming events, so reading the magazine could give readers a motive for a future outing with their friends/social groups where they would meet people with similar tastes to them.
13. The model on the cover is displayed wearing an expensive black shiny coat . The glow of the coat and the chain hanging down supports the stereotyped fans of my magazine, that they are appearance and style obsessed compared to the indie music genre of music whose main focus would be on instruments.
14. I chose the colour scheme to correlate with what the main photo to keep the main focus on that artist. In all R&B magazines the colour scheme is kept consistent to keep the style looking quite fashionable and cool.

17. I attracted my audience through the masthead, it was very bold and stood out and the 2nd most important thing on the page after the main artist which would have been the main attraction to my target customers. Also advertising upcoming events and prizes will be able to suck in the younger audience easier then say the audience of classical music as my target audience would be less mature and younger.
18. The use of simple/informal headings over the front cover would have helped to attract my audience as they do not want to be reading very formal articles, but rather informal gossip filled articles that will entertain them to read.
19. Headlines I used dropped some big names such as Usher and Nikki Minaj which on my reader profile showed as 2 of the most popular artists among my readers. So putting their names on the front will automatically attract the giant fan base of these artists.

21. I have learned a lot though making this magazine. At the start it is very hard getting familiar and skilled with the technology and software but through just trialling stuff and making mistakes I eventually got to know the software. For example designing the magazine and putting everything in place with the right parts cut out and the lighting adjusted of the images. This was all very hard getting used to controlling it but through practice I realised it wasn’t that hard after you done it once.
