2. What’s Wastewater Recycling…
Recycling water (also called waste water reuse or water
reclamation) is the process converting wastewater into
water that can be reused for other purpose. Reused water
may also be directed towards fulfilling certain needs in
residences, industry & even could be treated as drinking
water standards. Reusing wastewater is a long-established
practice as part of sustainable water management allows
water to remain as an alternative source for human
activities.
The most common reasons for establishing a wastewater
reuse program is to identify new water sources for increased
water demand and to find economical ways to meet
increasingly more stringent discharge standards.
