My name is Ken Tsai, I graduated from San Francisco State University with a major in
Hospitality and Tourism Management, I strive to Challenge myself to further develop my
skills as a professional and gain experience in the field of hospitality and tourism.
Therefore, I am very interested in any opportunities that are suitable for me, and believe
my past experience makes me a qualified candidate for this position.
As you can see from my resume, I used to work at W hotel San Francisco and
M.Y China fine dining restaurant, as celebrity chefs Martin Yan’s first modern Chinese
restaurant, it offers the unique experience of Chinese cuisine in downtown San Francisco.
W Hotel San Francisco is part of Sheraton Hotel, as a banquet intern, I was able to
participate day-to-day operation and managed the worldwide corporation on daily base.
These positions exposed me to the food service industry and Hotel industry helped me
sharpen my management, communication and customer service skills. My past position
at Howard Johnson Inn gave me extensive experience in all aspects of the hotel industry.
I first stated as a Front Desk agent and worked my way up to front desk supervisor within
three and half years. During this time, I gained experience in all area of hotel operations
and the management.
From my previous and current experiences in the hospitality and management
fields have fully prepared me for further challenge. In addition, I am a quick learner and
enjoy any kind of work challenges that may come my way. I look forward to the
